ABSTRAK

Suatu pembangkit tenaga listrik dapat mengalami berbagai masalah dalam operasinya. Untuk mengimbangi berkurangnya pembangkitan tenaga listrik dari suatu sistem yang diakibatkan oleh gangguan pada suatu pembangkit sehingga menyebabkan pembangkit tersebut trip lepas maka sbagian beban sistem harus dilepaskan supaya pembangkit yang masih bekerja tidak mengalami beban lebih dan mengakibatkan frekuensi sistem akan turun pada batas yang tidak diijinkan. Untuk itu load shedding perlu dilakukan untuk menjaga kontinuitas aliran daya dan menghindari terjadinya pemadaman total blackout. Untuk mendapatkan sistem load shedding yang handal akan dilakukan simulasi stabilitas transien untuk mengevaluasi sistem load shedding pada kondisi aktual yang sudah ada serta memberikan alternatif kombinasi load shedding pada sistem kelistrikan PT. Pertamina Persero UP II Dumai untuk menjaga kontinuitas daya yang mendukung proses produksi di Kilang Pertamina UP II Dumai.


ABSTRACT

A generator may have troubles in its operation. To keep the balance of the generation due to generation loss than make thats generation will be trip and to obtain that caused by generator disturbances thus part of the system loads has to be shedded to avoid excessed loading and falling of system frequency down to the untolerable limit of the remaining generator. For all that reasons load shedding system is needed to be conducted for keeping power flow continuity and avoiding the power system blackout. To obtain reliable load shedding system transient stability analysis will be simulated to evaluate the existing load shedding system and give load shedding alternative combinations of PT. Pertamina Persero UP II Dumai power system for keeping power continuity to support the process in this factory.
