ANALYSIS OF DISTRIBUTION TEMPERATURE ON BABY INCUBATOR MATTRESS

ABSTRAK

Data statisitik pengukuran dan kalibrasi baby incubator yang dilakukan oleh BPFK Surabaya pada tahun 2006-2007 menunjukkan adanya masalah pendistribusian suhu yang tidak seimbang didalam ruang baby incubator terutama pada matrasnya. Dalam TA ini distribusi suhu dianalisis untuk menentukan penyebab dan cara mengatasi masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode desain latin square 4X4 dengan tiga jenis variabel yaitu ketinggian matras dari sumber panas bahan matras dan cover matrasnya. Ketiga jenis variabel tersebut kemudian diacak sehingga didapatkan 16 variasi pengukuran. Dari data-data yang didapat kemudian diolah dan dianalisis dengan tabel analysis of variance ANOVA. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya penimbunan panas pada matras baby incubator. Bahan matras dan bahan cover matras tidak mempengaruhi penimbunan panas pada matras baby incubator. Perubahan bahan matras hanya memberikan penurunan temperatur sebesar 01C sedangkan perubahan bahan cover matras hanya memberikan penurunan temperatur sebesar 06C. Variabel yang mempengaruhi penimbunan panas pada matras baby incubator adalah ketinggian matras terhadap sumber panas yang ada di bawahnya dengan penurunan temperatur memcapai 3C pada ketinggian 9cm.Penambahan isolator dibawah matras dapat mengurangi temperatur hingga 05 C untuk isolator peredam panas dan untuk isolator keramik dapat mengurangi temperatur matras hingga 21 C.


ABSTRACT

Baby incubator measurement statistic data and calibration done by BPFK Surabaya in the year 2006-2007 shows that there is an inclination of problem in temperature distribution that not balance inside the baby incubator space especially in the mattress that. From that problem then a research with 4X4 latin square design method used in data gathering consist of three difference variable that is the altitude four sorts of sponge material and also four sorts of cover material. That three difference variabel then randomize until 16 difference variation of measurement has found. All the datas that found then processed and analyzed by Analysis of Variance ANOVA table. Analysis result indicated heat storage acumulation on baby incubator mattress. The material of mattress and the material of the mattress cover not influencing to heat storage acumulation on baby incubator mattress. The change on material of mattress only give temperature decrease 01 C The change on material of mattress cover only give temperature decrease 06 C. Variable that influencing heat storage acumulation on baby incubator mattress is the altitude from the heat source in the bottom of mattress with the temperature decrease reach 3C at 9 cm altitude. Isolator addition on the bottom of the mattress can reduce temperature until 05 C for heatsing isolator and for ceramics isolator can reduce temperature until 2C.
