ABSTRAK

Ketika menghadapi kasus tanah lunak biasanya metode perencanaan pada konstruksi jalan raya menggunakan beberapa cara diantaranya menggunakan metode perkerasan kaku rigid pavement slab on pile raft pile dan juga PVD Prefabricated Vertical Drain yang dikombinasikan dengan pembebanan bertahap yakni preloading. Tetapi ke-empat cara diatas memerlukan biaya yang cukup besar. Karena itu perlu dikembangkan metode lain yang dapat mengurangi biaya konstruksi tersebut. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan pemakaian KSLL konstruksi sarang laba-laba pada konstruksi jalan raya mengetahui kelayakan metode konstruksi sarang laba-laba pada konstruksi jalan raya khususnya pada jalan tol Waru Juanda dan juga untuk mengetahui perbedaan kebutuhan tulangan konstruksi sarang laba-laba dengan metode konstruksi yang sering digunakan yakni perkerasan kaku JRCP Jointed Reinforced Concrete Pavement. Didalam mendesign konstruksi perkerasan kaku maupun sarang laba-laba ini yang perlu diperhatikan adalah kondisi tanah dasar sub grade. Dimana tanah dasar pada kasus tanah lunak mempunyai nilai CBR yang kecil. Dengan program bantu SAP 2000 tanah dasar tersebut digunakan sebagai perletakan daripada konstruksi sarang laba-laba yang diasumsikan sebagai spring dari hasil SAP 2000 akan diketahui gaya-gaya dalam yang bekerja pada pelat lantai kendaraan maupun rib-rib daripada konstruksi sarang laba-laba tersebut. Gaya-gaya dalam tersebut digunakan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan penulangan yang dibutuhkan oleh konstruksi sarang laba-laba. Kemudian biaya daripada kedua metode tersebut akan dihitung berdasarkan kebutuhan penulangan volume beton perancah dan bekisting lalu akan dibandingkan metode mana yang mempunyai biaya lebih ekonomis dan efektif. Dari perbandingan biaya tersebut metode perkerasan kaku JRCP lebih ekonomis dan efektif daripada metode konstruksi sarang laba-laba yang mempunyai selisih biaya hingga 58.6.


ABSTRACT

When facing soft soil problems The method used for pavement design is usssally rigid pavement method slab on piles raft piles and also PVD Prefabricated Vertical Drain which combined with preloading. But those method are very expensive. In consequences another method is needed to be developed to reduce construction costs. The aim of this final project is to compare KSLL Konstruksi Sarang Laba-Laba at highway construction and also to know the feasibility of KSLL at highway construction especially at Waru Juanda highway project and to know the cost differences between KSLL and rigid pavement. In designing rigid pavement or KSLL one of the parameter that needs the most attention is the subgrade condition. Which subgrade of soft soil is having a low CBR value. With using SAP 2000 software subgrade is used as supports while in KSLL is assumed as spring through SAP 2000 output will be know internal forces at slab or ribs of KSLL. The internal forces are used for calculation of the required reinforcement of KSLL. Then cost of both methods will be calculation through required reinforcements concrete volume scaffoldings and frame works. Then the cost of the two methods will be compared to know which one is more effective and economic. From the cost comparison rigid pavement method JRCP is more effective and economic than Sarang Laba-Laba which differences is about 586.
