ISOLATION AND BIOACTIVITY TEST OF ALKALOID COMPOUNDS FROM THE BARK OF Litsea glutinosa MADANG

ABSTRAK

Dua senyawa alkaloid aporfin telah diisolasi dari eksrak metanol kulit batang Litsea glutinosa yaitu senyawa X yang merupakan senyawa boldin dan senyawa Y yang diperkirakan sebagai alkaloid aporfin yang tersubsitusi pada C-1 2 9 dan 10 oleh gugus hidroksi -OH metoksi -OCH3 dan metilendioksi -OCH2- O-. Aktivitas biologi kedua senyawa ditunjukkan oleh nilai LC50 sebesar 13179 ppm untuk senyawa boldin dan 15105 ppm untuk senyawa Y dengan metode Brine Shrimp Lethality Test BSLT dan nilai LC50 sebesar 18696 ppm untuk senyawa boldin dan 20186 ppm untuk senyawa Y dengan larva instar III nyamuk Aedes aegypti.


ABSTRACT

Two aporphine alkaloids were isolated from methanol extract of the stem bark of Litsea glutinosa. X compound was identified as boldine and Y compound was estimated as aporphine alkaloid that oxygenated on C-1 2 9 and 10 by hidroxy -OH methoxy -OCH3 and metilendioxy -O-CH2-O-.Bioactivity test to both of compounds shown by the LC50 value are 13179 ppm for boldine and 151 05 ppm for Y compound with Brine Shrimp Lethality Test BSLT metode and the LC50 value are 18696 ppm for boldine and 20186 ppm for Y compound insecticide assay with larva instar III Aedes aegypti.
