ABSTRAK

Setelah sukses membuat kapal aluminium 40 meter TNI AL berusaha untuk menambah armada kapal perangnya dengan membuat kapal perang aluminium dengan panjang 60 meter. Keunggulan kapal patrol cepat 60 m aluminium berbahan aluminium adalah kapal lebih ringan sehingga kapal dapat melaju lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan menggunakan bahan baja. Dalam tugas akhir ini dilakukan perancangan CODAG Combine Diesel and Gas turbine baik secara teknis maupun ekonomis. Analisa pada sisi teknis membahas tentang penempatan dan konfigurasi sistem CODAG dan Metode analisa Maxsurf digunakan untuk mencari keadaan stabilitas kapal patrol cepat 60m aluminium yang. Sedangkan pada sisi ekonomis membahas mengenai nilai Investasi nilai pondasi mesin nilai perawatan dan nilai operasional pada kapal tersebut.dari hasil analisa pada kapal patrol cepat 60 meter aluminium diketahui bahwa kapal yang menggunakan sistem CODAG mempunyai berat yang lebih ringan 3888 dan power yang lebih besar sekitar 3118 bila dibandingkan dengan diesel konvensional. Dari segi ekonomis investasi yang ditanamkan cukup besar yaitu berkisar 30 lebih mahal bila dibandingkan dengan diesel konvensional tetapi untuk biaya perbaikan dan operasional lebih kecil bila dibandingkan dengan diesel konvensional


ABSTRACT

Having made a 40 meter aluminium ship TNI AL tried to add their war ship by making 60 meter aluminium war ship. The positive thing about this 60 meter aluminium fast patrol ship is the lighter ship so that the ship can sail faster than the ship which is made of iron. In this paper has done CODAG project Combine Diesel and Gas turbine not only technically but also economically. The analysis in the technique side discuss about the placement and CODAG system configuration and Maxsurf analysis method used to find the optimum stability of aluminium 60 meter fast patrol ship which is on the water. Meanwhile in the economic side discuss about the investment value machine foundation value caring value and operational value of that ship. Compared with aluminium 60 meter fast patrol ship which uses conventional diesel system from that comparation can be known the strenght and the weakness from those propulsion systems. From the technique angle the analysis result of sixty meter patrol fast boat is that fast boat which uses CODAG system has the lighter weight thirty eight percent and more powerful or thirty one percent from the conventional diesel. From the economic angle we get great investment around thirty percent more expensive than conventional diesel but it has lower repair costs and operational than conventional diesel.
