ABSTRAK

Turbin Angin adalah sebuah alat yang berfungsi untuk merubah energi gerak menjadi energi listrik. Pada dasarnya energi gerak yang didapat dari kecepatan putaran turbin sangat dipengaruhi oleh kecepatan angin yang berhembus pada suatu daerah. Karena kecepatan angin yang tidak dapat diprediksi ketepatannya sehingga energi gerak yang langsung disimpan di dalam baterei maka akan mengakibatkan baterei tersebut mudah rusak. Sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah Converter yang digunakan untuk menurunkan tegangan yaitu Buck Converter. Dalam tugas akhir kali ini akan dirancang suatu disain Buck Converter untuk menghasilkan tegangan keluaran yang stabil meskipun tegangan masukannya berubah- ubah. Sehingga pastinya pada Buck Converter dibutuhkan sebuah controller untuk mengatur agar tegangan keluaran yang dihasilkan oleh Buck Converter tetap walaupun tegangan masukannya berubah- ubah. Controller yang digunakan adalah Microkontroller AVR ATMEGA 8535. Pada tugas akhir ini buck converter dapat menurunkan nilai tegangan yaitu dari 29.5 v ke 14.7 v dari 28.1 v ke 14.3 volt dan dari 27 v ke 14.2 v.


ABSTRACT

Wind turbine is a device that have a function to change energy form. It can change that energy from mechanical energy to electrical energy. Basically mechanical energy that been got from the velocity of turbine rotation.It been influenced by wind velocity that cant been predicted so mechanical energy that been resulted by turbine rotation is not stable. Therefore if electrical energy that been resulted by turbine been saved in a battery it can make battery is frazzle. So is needed buck converter to decrease voltage value. In this final project is designed a buck converter to be resulted output voltage that stable though input voltage is not stable. Therefore in the buck conveter is needed a controller to control that condition. In the final project is used microcontroller AVR ATMEGA 8535 as controller. In the final project buck converter can decrease voltage value from 29.5 v to 14.37 v from 28.1 v to 14.3 v and from 27 v to 14.2 v.
