DESIGN OF ALTERNATOR VOLTAGE CONTROL SYSTEM USING EXCITATION SYSTEM WITH FUZZY GAIN SCHEDULING PID CONTROLLER ON RAILBUS AT PT. INKA MADIUN

ABSTRAK

Besarnya GGL induksi pada suatu alternator dapat diatur melalui pengaturan jumlah putaranbesarnya fluks magnet pada kutub-kutub magnetnya ataupun dengan kedua-duanya. Adanya beban yang berubah-ubah menyebabkan perubahan tegangan keluaran alternator. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu kontroller yang mampu menjaga agar tegangan keluaran ini tetap terjaga konstan. Fuzzy gain scheduling PID controller merupakan algoritma kontrol yang memanfaatkan logika fuzzy untuk menentukan parameter-parameter PID. Pengendalian menggunakan fuzzy gain scheduling PID controller ini akan diaplikasikan pada sistem pengendalian tegangan alternator dengan memanipulasi medan eksitasi. Hasil perancangan sistem pengendalian tegangan menggunakan algoritma fuzzy gain scheduling PID menunjukkan hasil respon pengendalian yang lebih baik dari PID dengan nilai Settling time 0.35 s Max. Overshoot 0 dan Error Steady state 4


ABSTRACT

The amount of induction in a GGL alternator can be arranged through the number of circle arrangementthe size of magnetic flux at its magnetics poles or with both. Existence of fickle load causes the changes of voltage of alternator output. Therefor needed a controller which capable to prevent the output of alternator always constant. Fuzzy gain scheduling PID controller is a control algorithm using fuzzy logic to set the PID parameters. Fuzzy gain scheduling PID controller is applied to controlling alternator voltage with the manipulation of excitation field. The result of design alternator voltage control system using fuzzy gain scheduling PID algorithm show better response than PID control with value of settling time 0.35smax overshoot 0 and error steady state 4
