Tasikmadu Plantation is one of producer national superior fruit comodities that known as the Tasikmadu Starfruit. This plantation is always working to improve its productivity due to cost savings and increasing revenues. The main focus on the observation of this research is in nurturing and harvesting process. This research uses Lean Sigma paradigm by means of combining between Lean Thinking and Six Sigma methods that is intended to improve productivity especially in nurturing and harvesting process, where the indicator used is the productivity index. The means of improvement is made to increase the productivity that selected based on sustainable agriculture indicator in order to support the sustainability of agriculture. Based on the results of this research, two critical waste which is made the focus of research was not utilizing resources and defect where defect waste has a sub-critical waste such as natural devective and chafed devective, whereas not utilizing resources waste has a subcritical waste form of the excess use of pesticides and excess use of fertilizer that use in the spraying and fertilization process. Based on the calculation before improvement, the productivity index is at value of 73.37%. The best Alternatives that selected based on highest value and highest increase of productivity index was the combination of the use of alternative organic fertilizer and organic pesticide use (which has been equipped with information systems dose). The value of productivity index after the improvement was 74,74% or increased by 1,37% from the productivity index before improvement.

Perkebunan Tasikmadu merupakan salah satu penghasil komoditas buah unggul Nasional yang dikenal dengan Belimbing Tasikmadu. Perkebunan ini selalu berupaya untuk meningkatkan produktivitasnya guna penghematan biaya dan peningkatan pendapatan. Fokus pengamatan pada penelitian ini adalah pada proses pemeliharaan dan panen. Dalam penelitian ini diterapkan metode Lean Sigma dengan menggabungkan metode Lean Thinking dan Six Sigma untuk meningkatkan produktivitas proses pemeliharaan dan panen, dimana indikator yang digunakan adalah nilai indeks produktivitas.Upaya improvement yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dipilih berdasarkan indikator sustainable agriculture guna menunjang keberlangsungan pertanian. Dari hasil penelitian, dua waste kritis yang dijadikan fokus penelitian yaitu waste defect dan not utilizing resources dimana waste defect memiliki sub waste kritis berupa cacat alamiah dan cacat lebam, sedangkan waste not utilizing resources memiliki sub waste kritis berupa kelebihan penggunaan pestisida dan kelebihan penggunaan pupuk kimia pada proses penyemprotan dan pemupukan. Berdasarkan perhitungan indeks produktivitas sebelum dilakukan improvement diperoleh nilai 73,37%. Alternatif terbaik berdasarkan nilai value terbaik dan kenaikan indeks produktivitas tertinggi adalah kombinasi alternatif penggunaan pupuk organik, penggunaan pestisida organik (yang telah dilengkapi sistem informasi dosisnya).Nilai indeks produktivitas sesudah dilakukan improvement adalah 74,74% atau terjadi kenaikan sebesar 1,37% dari nilai indeks produktivitas sebelum dilakukan improvement.
