Fenomena buku yang membahas event olah raga khususnya event olah raga yang diseleggarakan Indonesia belum pernah ada. Buku-buku yang beredar di pasar hanya buku yang membahas event olah raga atau liga dari luar negeri. Deteksi Basketball League adalah salah satu event yang diselenggarakan oleh Deteksi Jawa Pos. Sejak diselenggarakan pertama kali pada tahun 2004, event ini terus berkembang menjadi event basket pelajar terbaik dan terbesar di Indonesia. Perancangan buku ini bertujuan sebagai pendukung promosi Deteksi Basketball League yang berisi perkembangan Deteksi Basketball League. Perancangan ini diharapkan bisa mengabadikan perkembangan event basket pelajar terbaik dan terbesar di Indonesia ini dan sebagai media informasi pelajar tentang event ini sehingga bisa menambah minat pelajar untuk mengikuti event ini. Metode awal yang dilakukan adalah riset minat target audience tentang buku sejenis melalui eksisting dan karakterisik target segmen sehingga diperoleh konsep visualisasi dengan memberikan fotofoto asli dari dokumentasi jalannya event tersebut. Wujud dari penelitian dan perancangan ini adalah sebuah buku yang sesuai dengan keyword �Growth With You as a Great Moment�

Phenomena of book that discuss about sport events especially sport events held by Indonesia has never existed before. All books that revolve around market are a book that discuss about sport events or leagues abroad only. Detection of basketball league is one of the events which is held by Deteksi Jawa Pos. Since it is first held in 2004, the event keep developing to become the best and the biggest basketball event in Indonesia. This book design aims to support Deteksi basketball league promotion that contains the development of �Deteksi� basketball league. This design is expected to be able to record for posterity of the development of the best and biggest basketball event of students in Indonesia and as an information media for students about this event so that it can be able to encourage students� interest to join this event. The early method that is conducted is research of audience interest about a kind of this book through existing and segment target characteristics so that obtained a visualization concept by giving original photos from the event documentation. The form of this research and design is a book that suitable with keyword �growth with you as a great moment�
