ABSTRAK

Flexible riser merupakan salah satu komponen struktur bangunan lepas pantai berupa pipa vertikal yang mempunyai sifat lentur dan berfungsi sebagai saluran yang menghubungkan antara wellhead dengan struktur tersebut. Untuk bangunan berjenis floating struktur flexible riser didesain sedemikian rupa agar mampu menahan beban lingkungan yang mengenainya. Salah satu beban lingkungan yang berpengaruh terhadap stabilitas dan kekuatan riser adalah adanya eksitasi gelombang. Besaran beban lingkungan ini berfluktuasi mengikuti fungsi waktu dan terjadi secara berulang ulang siklis. Beban ini menyebabkan terjadinya akumulasi tegangan yang sangat besar pada daerah interface. Daerah ini adalah daerah batas antara ujung ujung riser yaitu ujung atas yang berhubungan dengan struktur dan ujung bawah yang berhubungan dengan subsea wellhead. Daerah interface riser berupa riser porch yang sangat kritis mengalami kelelahan fatigue. Hal ini juga terjadi pada flexible riser FPSO Belanak yang beroperasi di laut Natuna. Analisa global dilakukan untuk mendapatkan tension pada daerah interface didapatkan nilai maksimum 188.45 kN dan minimum 1276 kN. Beban ini digunakan untuk analisa lokal pada riser porch menggunakan ANSYS yang bekerja berdasarkan prisnsip Finite Element Method. Output analisa lokal berupa output tegangan Von Mises disekitar crack. Terjadi perambatan retak dengan kecepatan 3.08 x 10- 6.mmcycle. Umur kepecahan riser porch adalah 155.1 tahun searah las lasan dengan panjang retak akhir 1167.67 mm.


ABSTRACT

Flexible riser is one of the offshore structure component that forms flexible vertikal pipe and have function as channel of wellhead offshore structure. For the floating structure flexible riser was design to be able to endure the environmental load. One of the environmental load that affects the riser stability is the fluctuative of wave excitation. This environmental load caused to much stress on interface area is a boundary of lower ends of the riser that connect to the subsea well head and the upper end connect to floating strucrure. Riser interface area is critically fatigue riser porch and it is also happen in flexible riser FPSO Belanak in Natuna sea. Global analysis was done to get tension on interface area. It said that the maximum tension is 188.45 kN and the minimum tension is 127.6 kN. This tension used to local analysis on riser porch using ANSYS that worked based on Finite Element Method. The result of local analysis area Von Mises distribution around the crack. The crack propagation rate is 3.08 x 10-6 mmcycle and the structure will failure in 155.1 year.
