PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR DARI LIMBAH CAIR PRODUKSI BIOGAS

ABSTRAK

Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara agraris terbesar di dunia membutuhkan pupuk dalam jumlah besar setiap tahunnya. Namun yang terjadi saat ini pupuk di Indonesia menjadi langka dan berharga mahal. Untuk mengatasi hal itu pengembangan produksi pupuk perlu ditingkatkan dan salah satu caranya adalah pembuatan pupuk organik cair dari limbah industri seperti limbah cair dari digester biogas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memanfaatkan limbah cair dari produksi biogas sebagai bahan baku produksi pupuk organik cair mengamati pengaruh penambahan tepung tulang dan biofertilizer Azotobacter chroococcum dan Bacillus megaterium terhadap produksi pupuk organik cair dari limbah cair produksi biogas serta membandingkan pengaruh antara pupuk organik cair pupuk organik cair biofertilizer Azotobacter chroococcum dan Bacillus megaterium dan pupuk anorganik padap pertumbuhan tanaman uji yaitu lebar daun pada tanaman caisin dan ketinggian tanaman buncis. Bahan baku dari penelitian ini adalah limbah cair dari produksi biogas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penambahan tepung tulang dengan variabel 4 7 dan 10 ww yang diikuti dengan proses pengadukan selama 1 minggu. Proses selanjutnya adalah penyaringan dan aerasi selama 4 hari. Kualitas dari pupuk organik cair yang dihasilkan ditingkatkan dengan penambahan bakteri Azotobacter chroococcum sebagai bakteri penambat nitrogen serta bakteri Bacillus megaterium sebagai bakteri pelarut fosfor masingmasing sebesar 0 5 dan 10 mll pupuk organik cair 1 ml mengandung 109 bakteri. Kondisi operasi yang dilakukan dengan pH 65-75 dan temperatur operasi 25-30C. Analisa yang dilakukan antara lain kandungan nitrogen fosfor dan kalium pada bahan baku saat sebelum operasi dan pupuk organik cair yang dihasilkan pada akhir operasi. Dari hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan didapatkan peningkatan kandungan nitrogen terbesar pada variabel 5 ml Azotobacter chroococcum dan 5 ml Bacillus megaterium yaitu sebesar 031 sedangkan peningkatan phosphat paling tinggi pada variabel 4 ww tepung tulang yaitu sebesar 370 dan peningkatan kalium paling tinggi pada variabel 7 ww tepung tulang yaitu sebesar 640.


ABSTRACT

Indonesia as one of the biggest agriculture country of the world needed fertilizer in big quantity every year. But in Indonesia fertilizer has high prices and become rare. Thats why the improvement of fertilizer production is needed and one of the answers is making liquid organic fertilizer from industrial wastes like organic liquid fertilizer from biogases digester. The purpose of this research is to utilize liquid waste from biogas production as raw material of liquid organic fertilizer watched the effect of the bone meal and biofertilizer Azotobacter chroococcum dan Bacillus megaterium added to liquid organic fertilizer from liquid waste of biogas and compare the effect of liquid organic fertilizer liquid organic fertilizer plus biofertilizer Azotobacter chroococcum dan Bacillus megaterium liquid inorganic fertilizer to the growth of test plant which we measure length and height of cabbage and peas. The raw material of this research was from liquid waste of biogas digester. The methods was added bone meal to liquid waste with 4 7 dan 10 ww variables and mixed for a week. Next we filtered and aeration for four days. Azotobacter chroococcum as nitrogen fixing bacteria and Bacillus megaterium as phospor solubilizing bacteria each 0 5 and 10 mll added to liquid organic fertilizer 1 ml contain 109 bacteria. Condition of operation with pH range 65-75 and temperature range 25-30 C. We analyze the nitrogen phospor and potassium content of raw materials before operation and liquid organic fertilizer on the end of operation. Result of the research are the biggest nitrogen content was from 5 ml Azotobacter chroococcum and 5 ml Bacillus megaterium variable meanwhile the biggest phosphates content was from 4 ww bone meal variable which is 370 and the biggest potassium content was from 7 ww bone meal which is 640.
