STUDI PENAMBAHAN MIKORIZA PADA MEDIA TANAM LUMPUR SIDOARJO-PASIR TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN DAN AKTIVITAS NITRAT REDUKTASE DAUN KEDELAI GLYCINE MAX L MERRILL

ABSTRAK

Lumpur Sidoarjo memiliki tekstur tanah liat dengan kandungan nitrat dan nitrit 30 mgL. Pemanfaatan lumpur Sidoarjo yang telah kering dapat digunakan sebagai media tanam kedelai sebab kedelai dapat tumbuh baik pada tanah liat yag mirip lumpur Sidoarjo asal drainase baik. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui kemampuan adapatasi kedelai pada media tanam lumpur yang dimodifikasi dengan pasir dan mikoriza. Penelitian dilakasanakan di Jurusan Biologi FMIPA-ITS. Metode penelitian adalah Metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap RAL faktorial. Parameter yang diamati adalah luas daun berat kering aktivitas nitrat reduktase persen infeksi mikoriza dan bintil akar. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Analisis Of Variance ANOVA dan pengaruh beda nyata diuji dengan uji Tukey dengan 945 005. Kedelai mampu tumbuh pada media lumpur Sidoarjo pasir dengan atau tanpa penambahan mikoriza. Luas daun kedelai tertinggi 11949 mm2 terdapat pada media lumpur Sidoarjo dan pasir 13 tanpa penambahan mikoriza dan berat kering tertinggi 4647 mg terdapat pada perlakuan media tanam lumpur dan pasir 13 dengan penambahan mikoriza. ANR tertinggi 785x10-6956molmgjam pada perlakuan dengan lumpur dan pasir 31 dengan 10 gr mikoriza.


ABSTRACT

Sidoarjo mud having texture of tough soil which content nitrat and nitrit 30 mgL. The utilityzation of mud Sidoarjo has dried can be used for soybean medium to growth because soybean is plant that can grow in every kind of the soil but the soil must have a good draination. This research were aimed to determine capability adaptation soybean on Sidoarjo mud with sand combination and mycorrhiza. This research were done in Department of Biology Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology. Randomized Complete Design Method is used for this research with factorial. The parameters are leaf area dry weight nitrate reductase activity precentation of mycorrhiza infection and total root nodule of soybean. The data was analyzed using Analysis Of Variance ANOVA test and real different influence with Tukeys test 945 005. Soybean has been planted on Sidoarjo mud medium sand with or not adding by mycorrhiza could growth. Leaf area was higher 11949 mm2 are on medium Sidoarjo mud and sand 13 without adding by mycorrhiza and dry weight was higher 4647 mg are on medium of Sidoarjo mud and sand 13 with adding by mycorrhiza in. NR activity that higher 785x10-6956molmgjam on treatment with medium of Sidoarjo mud and sand 31 with 10 gr mycorrhiza.
