ABSTRAK

Sistem distribusi air pemadam kebakaran merupakan salah satu bagian penting dari instalasi gedung. Perancangan sistem ini dilakukan dengan perhitungan yang tepat sesuai dengan struktur desain serta fungsi gedung itu sendiri. Bandara Internasional Juanda Surabaya memiliki gedung yang dilengkapi dengan sistem distribusi air pemadam kebakaran yang terkomputerisasi. Sehubungan dengan kejadian kebakaran di Bandara Juanda sendiri di salah satu bagian restoran pada akhir Desember 2007 maka perlu untuk dilakukan perencanaan ulang pada sistemnya. Perancangan sistem distribusi air pemadam kebakaran yang dilakukan meliputi penaksiran kebutuhan kapasitas air pemadam kebakaran penentuan diameter pipa air pemadam kebakaran perhitungan dan pemilihan pompa pemadam yang sesuai pemodelan dan simulasi dengan Software Pipe Flow Expert dan Software PyroSim serta review existing condition. Standar yang digunakan adalah NFPA untuk kebutuhan sprinkler dengan kapasitas 13 gpm dan tekanan 05 bar sedangkan untuk hydrant box dengan kapasitas 100 gpm dan tekanan 45 bar sementara itu Standar Hydraulic Institute Data dan Cameron Hydraulic Data adalah digunakan untuk properties instalasi. Hasil perancangan didapatkan untuk kebutuhan kapasitas air pemadam apabila kebakaran sampai 2 ruang yang terbakar adalah sebesar 356 gpm dan apabila kebakaran meluas sampai 10 ruang dalam waktu 15 menit adalah dibutuhkan kapasitas air pemadam sebesar 2070 gpm. Pompa pemadam adalah jenis sentrifugal dengan kapasitas 2 m3min dan head 5851 m dipilih merek EBARA dengan seri 150 MS 2537 sebanyak 4 pompa yang dioperasikan secara paralel sedangkan pompa joki adalah juga jenis sentrifugal dengan kapasitas 01 m3min dan head 5851 m dipilih seri EVM 419F sebanyak 1 pompa dan pompa booster adalah juga jenis sentrifugal dengan kapasitas 538984 lmin dan head 3511 m dipilih seri 200x150 CNHA 55 sebanyak 2 pompa yang dioperasikan secara paralel.


ABSTRACT

Fire water distribution system is one part of the important thing in the building installation. Design of this system is done with the correct calculation as according to structure design and also the function of itself building. Juanda International Airport Surabaya has the building provided with the fire water distribution system computerized. Refering to fire occurence in Juanda Airport in one part of its restaurant in the end of December 2007 hence need to be done by a redesign at their system. Design of fire water distribution system was done by covering of estimating of capacities requirement of fire water determining of diameter of fire water pipe calculating and selecting the appropriate fire pump modelling and simulating by Pipe Flow Expert Software and Pyrosim Software and also review existing condition. The standard was used in this design is NFPA Standard for the requirement of sprinkler with the capacities of 13 gpm and the pressure of 05 bar while for the hydrant box with the capacities of 100 gpm and the pressure of 45 bar meanwhile The Standard of Hydraulic Institute of Data and Cameron Hydraulic Data was used for the properties of installation. The result of this design for the requirement of fire water capacities if fire until 2 spaces burned was equal to 356 gpm and if fire extend until 10 spaces during 15 minute was required the fire water capacities equal to 2070 gpm. The fire pump was centrifugal type with the capacities of 2 m3min and the head of 5851 m selected the brand of EBARA with the series of 150MS2537 as much 4 pumps operated parallelly while the jockey pump was also centrifugal type with the capacities of 01 m3min and the head of 5851 m selected with the series of EVM419F as much 1 pump and the booster pump was also centrifugal type with the capacities of 538984 lmin and the head of 3511 m with the series of 200x150CNHA55 as much 2 pump operated parallelly
