ABSTRAK

Lumpur Sidoarjo memiliki porositas yang buruk karena kandungan liat yang relatif tinggi mengakibatkan aerasi dalam tanah semakin sedikit dan pertukaran ion-ion menjadi terhambat sehingga tidak cocok digunakan sebagai media tanam. Pemberian pupuk organik pada lumpur Sidoarjo diharapkan dapat memperbaiki tekstur dan diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai media tanam. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan hidup tanaman kedelai Glycine max L. Merril pada media lumpur sidoarjo yang dimodifikasi dengan pasir dan pupuk organik sampai fase generatif. Media lumpur Sidoarjo ditambah pasir dengan perbandingan 11 dan pupuk organik sebesar 15 gr 30 gr dan 45 gr. Parameter yang diamati adalah luas daun berat kering jumlah bintil akar dan aktivitas nitrat reduktase ANR daun. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan 6 perlakuan dan 2 ulangan. Data dianalisis dengan analysis of variance ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata Least Significant Difference LSD 9455. Tanaman kedelai mampu hidup sampai dengan fase generatif dan terbentuk buah. Dosis pupuk organik tidak berpengaruh terhadap luas daun dan berat kering tanaman kedelai tetapi berpengaruh pada ANR daun yaitu dengan pemberian pupuk organik 30 gr.


ABSTRACT

Sidoarjos mud has bad porosity because ductile content that is relative is height results aeration of subterranean increasingly a few and transfers of ions becomes pursued so that incompatible applied as media to plant. Giving of organic fertilizer at Sidoarjos mud is expected able to improve repair texture and expected serve the purpose of media to plant. Research aim to know ability of soy crop life Glycine max L. Merril at Sidoarjos mud media modified with sand and organic fertilizer until generative phase. Sidoarjos Mud media is added by sand with comparison of 11 and organic fertilizer 15 gram 30 gram and 45 gr. Parameter observed is leaf area drought weight number of root nodules and nitrate reductase activity ANR leaf. Research applies completely randomized design with 6 treatment and 2 restating. Data is analyzed with analysis of variance ANOVA and continued with reality difference test Least Significant Difference LSD 945 5. Soy crop can live up to generative phase and formed by fruit. Organic fertilizer dose doesnt have an effect on to leaf area and soy crop drought weight but having an in with ANR leaf that is with giving of organic fertilizer 30 gram.
