PENENTUAN DAERAH RETENSI BANJIR MENGGUNAKAN TEKNOLOGI PENGINDERAAN JAUH DAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS STUDI KASUS KABUPATEN MOJOKERTO

ABSTRAK

Retensi berarti penyimpanan atau daya tampung. Daerah retensi banjir merupakan daerah yang digunakan untuk menyerap air dari sungai maupun hujan sebagai salah satu alternatif pencegah banjir. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pemetaan untuk penentuan daerah retensi banjir khususnya di Kabupaten Mojokerto. Teknologi penginderaan jauh dan sistem informasi geografis dapat digunakan untuk memetakan daerah retensi banjir di Kabupaten Mojokerto. Penentuan daerah retensi banjir dibuat berdasarkan beberapa parameter yaitu jenis tanah daerah genangan curah hujan dan kelerengan. Peta daerah retensi banjir Kabupaten Mojokerto bersumber dari data citra SPOT 4 tahun 2008 dan diolah menggunakan software ER Mapper dan Arc View 3.3. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan daerah atau kawasan-kawasan yang bisa dioptimalkan sebagai daerah retensi banjir. Daerah retensi terdapat di daerah daerah yang mengalami genangan rutin yaitu di kecamatan Gedeg Jetis Kemlagi Bangsal Mojoanyar Mojosari Ngoro Pungging Puri dan Sooko. Dari daerah genangan tersebut dipilih tutupan lahan v yang dapat dioptimalkan sebagai daerah retensi. Curah hujan berkisar 1500 2000 mm tahun dengan tingkat kelerengan sangat datar sampai curam. Daerah retensi yang baik yaitu daerah yang memiliki jenis tanah andosol kemudian daerah retensi yang sedang yaitu daerah yang memiliki jenis tanah tanah aluvial mediteran dan litosol. Luasan terbesar dari daerah retensi baik terdapat pada tutupan lahan sawah yaitu sebesar 5062.825 Ha kemudian diikuti kebun yaitu sebesar 1283.028 Ha tegalan sebesar 294.224 Ha dan rumputsemak sebesar 17.682 Ha. Untuk luasan terbesar dari daerah retensi sedang terdapat pada tutupan lahan sawah yaitu sebesar 11950.514 Ha kemudian diikuti tegalan sebesar 9786.27 Ha kebun sebesar 4043.507 Ha rumputsemak sebesar 422.66 Ha dan rawa sebesar 2.127 Ha.


ABSTRACT

Retention means deposit or storage capacity. Retention area is an area which is used to absorb water from rivers and rain as one of the alternative flood prevention. Therefore mapping is required to determinate flood retention area especially in Mojokerto regency. Technology of remote sensing and geographic information systems enable to map the flood retention are in Mojokerto regency. Determination of flood retention area classified based on several parameters there are type of land pool area rainfall and slope. Map of Mojokerto flood retention areas regency source 2008 image data from SPOT 4 and next is processed used ER mapper and Arc View 3.3. software. The results from this research shows regions or areas that can be optimized as the flood retention area. Retention areas are located in area which experience routine pool like in the Gedeg distric Jetis Kemlagi Bangsal Mojoanyar Mojosari Ngoro Pungging Puri and Sooko. From the pool area selected the land cover that can be optimized as the Retention area. Rainfall around 1500 - 2000 mm year with a normal flat until high slope. The best retention area is an area has type of andosol land and the good retention areas is the area that has the type of alluvial land mediterranean and litosol. The largest best vii retention area is located on the imprisonment of the rice land 5062.825 Ha which is then followed by a garden of 1283.028 ha 294224 ha of moor and pasture scrub of 17682 Ha. And the largest good retention area coverings are found in the field of land amounting to 11950.514 Ha followed moor of 9786.27 Ha Ha 4043.507 of the garden grass bushes of 422.66 ha and the swamp of 2127 Ha.
