ABSTRAK

Limbah udara yang dihasilkan dari proses produksi perlu mendapat perhatian sesuai dengan Keputusan Menteri Negara Lingkungan Hidup No. 13 Tahun 1995 tanggal 7 Maret 1995 tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah mengevaluasi efisiensi dari fabric filter yang sudah ada serta merencanakan desain fabric filter untuk unit produksi yang tidak dilengkapi dengan pengolahan emisi udara Berdasarkan dari hasil analisa lab konsentrasi partikulat melebihi ambang batas yang ditentukan yaitu sebesar 208 mgm3 sedangkan konsentrasi yang diperbolehkan untuk dibuang ke udara ambient untuk industri besi dan baja jenis tanur busur listrik adalah sebesar 150 mgm3 pengamatan menunjukkan fabric filter yang sudah ada memerlukan penggantian filter media. Perencanaan fabric filter terhadap unit produksi yang belum dilengkapi alat pengolahan udara menggunakan fabric filter dengan pembersihan pulse-jet.


ABSTRACT

Air pollution from production process require attention as according to Decree Of The Minister of Environment No. 13 Year 1995 7 March 1995. Intention of this final asignment is to evaluate efficiency of existing filter fabric as well as filter fabric desain for the unit of production with no processing of air emission Pursuant to laboratory analysis result concentration of partikulat exceed determined boundary that is equal to 208 mg m3 while torelable concentration to be emited into the air ambient for the industry of electrics arc furnace type steel and iron is equal to 150 mg m3 survey show that existing filter fabric need replacement of filter medium. Design of filter fabric for production unit with no equipment for air filter processing with sweeping of pulse-jet
