ABSTRAK

Salah satu dampak dari semburan lumpur Lapindo di Porong-Sidoarjo yang terjadi sejak pertengahan tahun 2006 adalah terganggunya transportasi kereta api Ruas Sidoarjo-Bangil akibat jalan rel yang tergenang lumpur. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut telah direncanakan relokasi rel Ruas Sidoarjo-Bangil dengan jalur ganda double track. Keterbatasan dana dari pihak PT. Kereta Api Indonesia PT.KAI merubah pelaksanaan relokasi rel dengan jalur ganda menjadi jalur tunggal single track yang kemudian akan diperluas menjadi double track di masa mendatang. Dari desain relokasi rel yang ada didapat desain tubuh jalan rel yang berupa timbunan dengan ketinggian mencapai 8 meter di beberapa titik pada STA 38750 STA 42000. Ketinggian timbunan yang cukup besar menimbulkan potensi kelongsoran pada ruas tersebut. Dari latar belakang kondisi yang ada dilakukan beberapa alternatif desain ditinjau dari aspek geoteknik stabilitas bangunan bawah konstruksi jalan rel yang diperhitungkan terhadap perencanaan timbunan untuk single track pada saat ini dan double track di masa mendatang. Dalam merencanakan beberapa alternatif desain geoteknik relokasi rel dilakukan analisa pembebanan yang ditimbulkan oleh kereta api dan susunan jalan rel profil rel bantalan balas. Langkah selanjutnya adalah menganalisa kestabilan timbunan dan tanah dasar terhadap beban-beban yang bekerja. Kemudian merencanakan beberapa metode perbaikan tanah yang sesuai dengan kondisi tanah yang ada serta estimasi biaya yang dibutuhkan dari masing-masing alternatif yang ada. Hasil yang didapatkan dari perencanaan desain alternatif perkuatan tanah dengan biaya minimum adalah perkuatan geotextile dan penggunaan Prevabricated Vertical Drain PVD.


ABSTRACT

One of the impacts of Lapindo mud flood in Porong Sidoarjo which occurred in the middle 2006 was the disruptions of railway transportation between Sidoarjo-Bangil because the railway was covered in mud. To solve this problem there was an alternate design of railway relocation between Sidoarjo-Bangil with double track. The limitation of funds from PT. Kereta Api Indonesia PT. KAI make the major changes in the design of the railway relocation from double track to single track which will be expanded to be double track in the future. From the design of the railway relocation there is railway embankment with 8 meters height in some points on STA 38750 STA 42000. The height of this embankment causes high risk of landslides. Based on this case several alternative designs will be observed by considering geotechnical aspects stability of lower railway section and estimated toward single track and double track design. Load design because of the train and the structure of the railway itself rail profile sleeper ballast must be considered in planning several geotechnical alternatives of railway relocation. Analyzing the stability of the landslides can be estimated when working load apllied. Then design several soil improvements according to condition at the site and estimate construction cost from the each alternative design. The result from alternative soil improvements with minimum cost in this final project is soil improvement with geotextile and prevabricated vertical drain PVD.
