ABSTRAK

Surja adalah penyuntikan energi secara tiba-tiba pada kawat.Surja dapat berupa surja petir yang disebabkan oleh sambaran petir atau surja hubung yang disebabkan oleh operasi switching. Jika magnitudo tegangan surja melebihi BIL Basic Insulation Level atau BSL Basic Switching Insulation Level peralatan isolasi yang dipakai maka surja dapat mengakibatkan kerusakan pada peralatan isolasi tersebut. Tanggapan sistem pentanahan terhadap surja sangat berpengaruh terhadap tegangan lebih sistem penyaluran tenaga listrik. Konduktor pentanahan merupakan komponen pendukung sistem pentanahan. Panjang efektif konduktor pentanahan perlu ditentukan untuk mendapatkan suatu jalur arus surja ke tanah secara cepat dan efektif. Gelombang surja mempengaruhi penentuan panjang konduktor pentanahan. Pada tugas akhir ini konduktor pentanahan dipasang horisontal dan karakteristik gelombang surja pada konduktor pantanahan horisontal dimodelkan dengan menggunakan metode diagram lattice. Pemodelan ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan panjang efektif konduktor pentanahan horisontal.sehingga metode dan pendekatan yang digunakan sederhana dan mudah untuk diaplikasikan.Analisis dan simulasi menggunakan software MatLab.


ABSTRACT

Surge is injection energy sudden at strand of metal. Surge can be the form of the thunder surge which is cause by pouncing movement of thunder or surja link which is cause by operation switching. If magnitude of tension surja exceed the BIL Basic Insulation Level or BSL Basic Switching Insulation Level the insulation equipments weared hence surge can result damage at the insulation equipments. The Response of grounding system to surge has many effects on tension more system of electric power transmision. Ground conductor represent the endoser component of grounding system. The effective length of grounding Conductor are required to determined a band of surge current to the ground quickly and effective The surge wave influence the length grounding conductor determination. At this final project grounding conductors are attached horizontal and the surge wave characteristic of horizontal grounding conductors are modeled by using lattice diagram method. This model aim to get the effective length of horizontal grounding conductors. This method used the mathematics equations in time domain so the method and approach can be used modestly and easy to applied. The simulation and Analysis used the Matlab software.
