ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kapasitas adsorpsi CuII pada abu dasar dalam sistem kolom dengan aliran dari atas ke bawah. Kolom yang digunakan memiliki diameter 1 cm dan tinggi adsorben 4 cm. Laju alir pada sistem kolom divariasikan pada 15 mLmenit 3 mLmenit dan 4 mLmenit dan digunakan model Thomas untuk menentukan kapasitas adsorpsinya. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi laju alir maka kapasitas adsorpsi ion logam CuII pada abu dasar semakin meningkat. Dengan laju alir 15 mLmenit 3 mLmenit dan 4 mLmenit diperoleh kapasitas adsorpsi berturut-turut sebesar 79792 mgg 89507 mgg dan 96752 mgg.


ABSTRACT

This research aims to determine the adsorption capacity of CuII on buttom ash in down flow fixed bed column. The column has diameter of 1 cm height of 135 cm and adsorbent height of 4 cm. Flow rate of column system was varied at 15 mLmin 3 mLmin and 4 mLmin the adsorption capacity was 89507 mgg 89507 mgg and 96752 mgg respectively
