ABSTRAK

Partikulat berdiameter kurang dari sepuluh mikron PM10 adalah pencemar udara yang dominan akibat dari aktivitas transportasi dan aktivitas industri. Peningkatan pencemaran partikulat PM10 yang melebihi baku mutu udara ambient dapat membahayakan kesehatan bagi masyarakat dan makhluk hidup sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan model alternatif pencitraan pencemaran udara di Kecamatan Gresik yang bisa juga dikembangkan untuk mencitrakan pencemaran udara di kota-kota besar di Indonesia. Target khusus yang ingin diraih adalah ingin mengetahui dampak pencemaran udara partikel debu khususnya di Kecamatan Gresik mengetahui kerapatan polusi pollution density di Kecamatan Gresik dan menyajikan seluruh data tersebut dengan pendekatan Sistem Informasi Geografis SIG. Langkah pertama yang harus dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan sampling udara di 10 titik dan pengambilan sampel yang dibagi atas waktu pagi waktu siang dan waktu malam mengacu pada Kep. Gubernur Kepala Daerah Tk. I Jatim No. 128 Th. 1997 dengan menggunakan alat yang dinamakan HVS High Volum Sampler. Tingkat konsentrasi partikulat maksimum adalah sebesar 75348 gm3. Melalui pemetaan pola sebaran partikulat diketahui bahwa perlu adanya penanggulangan untuk mereduksi tingginya konsentrasi partikulat sebagai akibat dari aktifitas transportasi dan industry di Kecamatan Gresik.


ABSTRACT

Particulate that has diameter less than 10 micron PM10 happen to be the most dominant air pollutant caused by transportation and industrial activities. The enhancement of particulate pollution that over the ambient air standard can endangered the healthy of effected organism. The research was intend to presenting air pollutant model at Gresik subdistrict which can also developed to project an air pollutant image in other big cities in Indonesia. Special target that tried to be reach was wanted to know the air pollution impact especially dust particulate and also wanted to know the pollution density at Gresik subdistrict and presenting all the data using GIS approach. The sample was drawn in ten point predicted as the main pollutant source at Gresik subdistrict in which the sampling times was devided in three intervals notably morning midday and evening accordance to the East Java Governors decree No. 1281997 using equipment called HVS High Volum Sampler. The maximum value of particulate consentration is 75348 gm3. According to the particulate distribution mapping some preventive should be taken to decreasing particulate consentration caused by transportation and industrial activities at Grsik subdstrict.
