STUDI CARBON FOOTPRINT CO2 DARI KEGIATAN PERMUKIMAN DI KOTA SURABAYA BAGIAN TENGAH PUSAT DAN SELATAN

STUDY OF CARBON FOOTPRINT FROM SETTLEMENT ACTIVITIES IN THE MIDDLE SURABAYA CENTRAL AND SOUTH

ABSTRAK

Permukiman merupakan salah satu kontributor peningkatan emisi CO2 yang berpotensi menyebabkan perubahan iklim bumi. Konsumsi energi listrik diperhitungkan sebagai emisi tidak langsung sekunder sedangkan penggunaan bahan bakar sebagai emisi langsung primer. Data primer diperoleh dari survey dengan melibatkan 100 responden. Data sekunder berupa jumlah rumah tangga dan faktor emisi CO2. Perhitungan seluruh energi yang dikonsumsi dan menghasilkan emisi CO2 disebut carbon footprint. Perhitungan emisi CO2 menggunakan metode IPCC 1996. Hasil dari perhitungan emisi CO2 digunakan sebagai dasar penentuan skala emisi CO2 di Surabaya bagian tengah. Metode statistik digunakan dalam pengolahan data primer untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi emisi CO2. Hasil analisa diperoleh emisi CO2 dari kegiatan permukiman Surabaya bagian tengah Pusat dan Selatan adalah sebesar 85.126.03314 KgCO2bulan dimana emisi CO2 primer sebesar 10.083.21281 KgCO2bulan sedangkan emisi CO2 sekunder adalah 75.042.8203 KgCO2bulan. Berdasarkan hasil pemetaan carbon footprint CO2 menunjukkan bahwa Kecamatan Sawahan sebagai kotributor emisi CO2 terbesar di Kota Surabaya bagian tengah. Hasil uji statistik diperoleh faktor yang mempengaruhi emisi CO2 primer adalah konsumsi bahan bakar LPG dan minyak tanah untuk emisi CO2 sekunder dipengaruhi oleh faktor daya listrik penghasilan dan tipe rumah sedangkan untuk emisi CO2 total dipengaruhi oleh faktor daya listrik konsumsi bahan bakar LPG penghasilan tipe rumah dan konsumsi bahan bakar minyak tanah.


ABSTRACT

Human settlement is one of the contributors in the increasing of CO2 emissions so potentially causing climate change that increase overall temperature. Electrical energy consumption were calculates as indirect emissions secondary while the fuel consumption as direct emissions primary. Primary data were obtain from survey with 100 respondens. Secondary data were number of households and secondary CO2 emmision factors. The calculation of total energy consumption that generate CO2 emmision was called carbon footprint. CO2 emmision were calculated using IPCC method 1996. CO2 emmision scale in middle of Surabaya were determined from the calculation of CO2 emmision. Statistic method were used for primary data analysis to determined the affecting factors of CO2 emmisions. Total CO2 emmision from human settlement in middle of Surabaya was 85.126.03314 KgCO2month in which primary CO2 emissions amounted to 10.083.21281 KgCO2month while secondary CO2 emissions 75.042.8203KgCO2 month. Based on carbon footprint CO2 mapping the highest contributor of CO2 emmisions were Sawahan district. Statistical test result showed that the affecting factor of primary CO2 emmision was LPG and kerosene fuel consumption the secondary CO2 emmision were electrical power household income house type while the total CO2 emmision were influenced by electrical power LPG consumption household incomehouse type and kerosene consumption
