PERENCANAAN TEBAL PERKERASAN RUNWAY DAN TAXIWAY BANDARA KUALA NAMU DELI SERDANG SUMATRA UTARA

ASSESSING OF THE PAVEMENT ON THE RUNWAY AND TAXIWAY AT KUALA NAMU AIRPORT DELI SERDANG - NORTH SUMATRA

ABSTRAK

Bandara udara merupakan faktor pendukung bagi perkembangan dalam segi ekonomi sosial budaya dan industri. Sedangkan bandara yang ada saat ini dikota Medan sungguh tidak memadai untuk perkembangan kota serta infrastrukturnya dikarenakan bandara Polonia Medan berada di tengah kota. Sehingga aktifitas penerbangan dapat mengganggu daerah sekitarnya yang menyebabkan kebisingan dan menyebabkan pertumbuhan kota susah berkembang seperti pembangunan gedung yang tidak bisa terlalu tinggi yang dapat mengganggu jarak pandang pesawat. Oleh karena itu kota Medan membutuhkan pembangunan bandara baru yang bertaraf kelas internasional sehingga dapat menunjang pertumbuhan perekonomian kota medan sehingga bisa berkembang dan mengurangi kebisingan dan dengan kondisi bandara yang bertaraf kelas internasional ini pesawat ukuran besar seperti B-747-400 dapat mengangkut beban penuh. Dimana bandara baru ini akan dibangun didaerah Deli Serdang Sumatra Utara yaitu Bandara Kuala Namu. Perencanaan tebal perkerasan runway dan taxiway Bandara Kuala Namu Deli Serdang-Sumatra Utara ii menggunakan metode Federal Aviation Administration FAA menganalisa arah runway dan merencanakan daya dukun tanah dengan menggunakan PVD. Dengan analisa yang dilakukan didapatkan bahwa perencanaan tebal perkerasan runway dan taxiway dengan metode FAA didapat tebal kritis 10963 cm dan non kritis 9765cm. Untuk analisa arah runway pada bandara kuala namu arah runway yang yang menetukan dengan angin dominan mengarah ke arah timur laut. Dan untuk daya dukung tanah penggunaan PVD menggunakan pola segi empat dengan dimensi 10 x 03cm2.


ABSTRACT

Airport is a supporting factor for the development in terms of economic social cultural and industr. While the existing airport is the city of Medan was not sufficient for the development of cities and infrastructure due to the Polonia airport in Medan in the middle of town. So that flight activity can disrupt the surrounding area causing noise and cause trouble growing city growth such as the construction of buildings that can not be too high which can interfere with aircraft visibility. Therefore the development of Medan city need a new airport of international class standard so as to support economic growth so that medan city could grow and reduce noise and the condition of the airport which is an international-class standard-size aircraft such as B-747-400 can carry a full load . Where the new airport will be built Deli Serdang area - namely North Sumatra Kuala Namu Airport. Assessing of the pavement at Kuala Namu Airport Deli Serdang-North Sumatra using the methods of the Federal Aviation Administration FAA analyzes the runway and land planning shaman power using PVD. iv With the analysis conducted found that the thick of planning runway and taxiway pavement with a thick obtained FAA method 10963 cm critical and non critical 9765 cm. For the analysis of runway at the airport at Kuala Namu the direction of the runway to determine the dominant wind direction led to the northeast. And for the land carrying capacity the use of PVD using a square pattern with dimensions of 10 x 0.3 cm2.
