EVALUASI HASIL PEMANTAUAN LAND SUBSIDENCE DI AREA SEKITAR TANGGUL LUMPUR SIDOARJO DENGAN TEKNOLOGI SIG

EVALUATION RESULT OF THE LAND SUBSIDENCE MONITORING IN ARROUND EMBANKMENT OF SIDOARJOS MUDFLOW AREA USING GIS TECHNOLOGY

ABSTRAK

Semburan lumpur yang terjadi sejak 29 Mei 2006 di Kecamatan Porong Kabupaten Sidoarjo Jawa Timur sudah termasuk dalam tingkat yang sangat mengkhawatirkan. Semburan lumpur panas selama beberapa tahun ini menyebabkan tergenangnya kawasan permukiman pertanian dan perindustrian di tiga kecamatan di sekitarnya serta mempengaruhi aktivitas perekonomian di Jawa Timur. Dengan mengacu pada volume lumpur yang terus bertambah hal ini pasti menyebabkan terjadinya pengosongan massa yang diakibatkan oleh keluarnya lumpur secara terus-menerus dan dikhawatirkan dapat menyebabkan terjadinya land subsidence atau penurunan tanah di Kecamatan Porong dan sekitarnya. Dengan melihat fenomena tersebut maka pemantauan secara berkala sangat diperlukan yang diharapkan dapat mengetahui arah dan besarnya penurunan permukaan tanah. Pemantauan Land subsidence dapat dilakukan dengan beberapa metode salah satunya adalah dengan Global Positioning System GPS. Data yang didapat dengan survei GPS selanjutnya akan diolah menjadi informasi pergeseran horisontal pergeseran vertikal kecepatan dan percepatan penurunan tanah. Dari informasi tersebut akan diproses dan dianalisa dengan teknologi Sistem Informasi Geografis untuk mengkaji dan menganalisa perubahan titik secara vertikal dan horisontal yang diintegrasikan dengan batas administrasi dari desa-desa setempat. Hal ini sangat bermanfaat sebagai Early warning System dalam penanganan bencana yang ditimbulkan oleh pergerakan tanah terutama di desa sekitar tanggul lumpur Sidoarjo. Hasil dari survei GPS menunjukkan bahwa pergeseran subsidence terbesar dialami titik VK-08 -0.632 m pada kala 6-7 dan DG-04 -0.503 m pada kala 8-9. Sedangkan Titik yang mengalami kenaikan uplift antara lain Titik TTG-1304TTG-1305 P01 VK09 dan TTG-1322 yang berkisar antara 0 cm sd 61 cm.


ABSTRACT

Mudflow that occurred since May 29 2006 at Porong district Sidoarjo regency East Java has been included in an alarming rate. Hot mudflow in recent years causing flood of settlement areas agriculture industry in three districts and in surroundings and influence economic activity in East Java. With seen the mud volume this matter surely cause the happening of mass depletion and felt concerned about can cause the happening of land subsidence in district of porong and surrounding areas and is feared could lead to land subsidence or soil degradation in Sub Porong and surrounding areas. With seen that phenomenon so periodical monitoring have very needed which expected can know direction and magnitude of land subsidence. Monitoring land subsidence can be done with a few methods and one of them is Global Positioning system GPS. The data was gotten by GPS surveys will be analized became to information of horizontal displacement vertical displacement velocity and acceleration Land Subsidence. From that information will be processed using Geographic Information System technology to know the change point vertically and horizontally that integrated with the administration boundaries of local villages. This is very useful as an early warning system in the handling of disasters that caused by soil movement. Results from GPS survey indicate that the shift of greatest subsidence experienced point were VK-08 -0632 m at the time 6-7 and DG-04 -0503 m at the time 8-9. While the points that increased uplift such as TTG 1304 TTG-1305 P01 VK09 and TTG-1322 are mean range from 0 cm until 61 cm.
