ABSTRAK

Pembangkit listrik tenaga vorteks merupakan teknologi yang baru daripada konversi energi lainnya cara kerjanya bertolak belakang dengan vibrasi yang biasanya dihindari pada perancangan struktur.Pada sistem ini vibrasi ditingkatkan untuk menghasilkan amplitudo yang tinggi. Komponen yang penting pada konversi tenaga listrik ini adalah oscillating part. Pada penelitian ini digunakan model oscillating part bentuk silinder dengan memvariasi perbandingan diameter dan panjang serta konfigurasinya dengan susunan dua silinder semua model bekerja pada aliran fluida 06 07 dan 08 ms. Dengan menggunakan software CFD untuk mengetahui kecepatan eksitasi dan gaya lift yang dihasilkan dan perhitungan manual untuk menghitung amplitude. Pemodelan dengan rasio maka didapatkan amplitudo terbesar untuk model silinder tunggal pada Model IV DL 1257120 dengan amplitudo maksimum 513 mm pada kecepatan 08 ms dan amplitudo minimum 1074 mm pada kecepatan 06 ms. Untuk konfigurasi dua silinder didapatkan nilai maksimum pada model susunan dua silinder DL 1257120 jarak vertikal v 25D dengan amplitudo maksimum 617 mm pada kecepatan arus 08 ms dan amplitudo minimum 81 mm pada kecepatan arus 06 ms. Nilai amplitude tersebut akan berguna dalam desain generator linier.


ABSTRACT

Vortex power plant is a new technology than other energy conversion how it works in contrast to the vibrations that are usually avoided in structural design. In this system the vibration amplitude increased to produce a high. An important component in the conversion of electric power is oscillating parts. In this study oscillating parts of the model by varying the ratio of cylinder diameter and length and its configuration with the arrangement of two cylinders all work on fluid flow models 06 07 and 08 ms. By using CFD software to determine the excitation velocity and the lift force generated and manual calculations to calculate the amplitude so he found the largest amplitude for single-cylinder model in Model III DL 1257120 with a maximum amplitude of 513 mm at a speed of 08 ms and a minimum amplitude of 1074 mm at a speed of 06 ms. For two-cylinder configuration obtained the maximum value on the compotition of two cylinder models DL 1257120 vertical distance v 2.5 D with maximum amplitude of 617 mm on the flow velocity 08 ms and a minimum amplitude of 81 mm at a speed flow of 06 ms. Amplitude values will be useful in the design of linear generator.
