ABSTRAK

Dalam dunia maritime Indonesia alat transportasi laut mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting karena negara Indonesia adalah Negara kepulauan terbesar di dunia. Kapal militer Fast LST adalah kapal militer yang difungsikan sebagai kapal yang mengirim peralatan maupun kendaran militer ke daerah diseluruh Indonesia. Mengingat daerah perairan nusantara yang sangat luas performa sebuah kapal menjadi suatu hal sangat diperhatikan. Sebuah kapal diharapkan mampu mengirim peralatan militer dengan cepat. Oleh karena itu dalam tugas akhir ini penulis menganalisa sebuah system propulsi kapal militer fast LST agar dapat meningkatkan efisiensinya. Diharapkan dari hasil analisa tersebut menghasilkan kecepatan kapal yang lebih tinggi dari 18 knot menjadi 20 knot.


ABSTRACT

In Indonesia maritime industry sea transportation has an important function because Indonesia is the largest archipelago country in the world. Fast LST is a military vessel that is used to deliver equipment and military vehicle to Indonesia territory. Because of Indonesia waterworks area is very large vessel performance become so important. Vessel is hopeable to deliver military equipment as fast as possible. So that in this final project the writer is analyze the propulsion system of Fast LST military vessel in order to increase the efficiency. Hopely the result of the analysis can increase the speed from 18 knot to 20 knot.
