Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui distribusi jenis – jenis ikan karang yang tersebar pada ekosistem terumbu karang, zona transisi dan ekosistem padang lamun di perairan pantai Bama, Taman Nasional Baluran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode transek dengan tiga transek yang mewakili ekosistem terumbu karang, zona transisi (antara padang lamun dan terumbu karang) dan ekosistem padang lamun dengan panjang tiap-tiap transek 100 m sejajar dengan garis pantai. Pengambilan data ikan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode sensus visual. Data kesamaan komunitas dianalisa dengan indeks Morishita-Horn. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengamatan ikan karang di ekosistem padang lamun, zona transisi dan ekosistem terumbu karang adalah ditemukannya 28 family ikan karang yang diwakili oleh 111 spesies dan 6781 individu. Dari analisa, diketahui bahwa kesamaan komunitas ikan karang pada ekosistem padang lamun dan zona transisi terdapat keterkaitan paling erat (0,433) dibandingkan dengan zona yang lainnya.

This study aims to determine the distribution of species - species of reef fish, spread on the coral reef ecosystem, the transition zone and seagrass ecosystems in coastal waters Bama, Baluran National Park. The method used is the method of transect with three transects representing coral reef ecosystem, the transition zone (between seagrass beds and coral reefs) and seagrass ecosystems length of each transect 100 m parallel to the coastline. Intake of fish data were calculated using a visual census. Community similarity data were analyzed with Morishita-Horn index. The results obtained from observations of reef fishes in seagrass ecosystems, transition zone and coral reef ecosystems is the discovery of 28 reef fish family, represented by 111 species and 6781 individuals. From the analysis, it is known that the common reef fish communities in seagrass ecosystems and transitional zones are the most tight linkage (0.433) compared with the other zones.
