PENGEMBANGAN MODUL SEGMENTASI PADA M-ANALYZER SISTEM PORTABEL CERDAS UNTUK IDENTIFIKASI PARASIT MALARIA

ABSTRAK

Kebutuhan diagnosa penyakit malaria secara akurat dan cepat di Indonesia cukup tinggi mengingat penyakit ini seringkali terjadi di daerah yang sulit dijangkau. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut bidang studi teknik komputer dan telematika jurusan teknik elektro ITS mengusulkan sistem portabel cerdas untuk identikasi otomatis malaria yang dinamakan M-Analyzer. Sistem portabel cerdas ini terdiri dari tiga modul yaitu modul akuisisi segmentasi dan klasikasi. Peranan penelitian ini adalah menerapkan metode yang tepat pada modul segmentasi. Metode segmentasi yang diusulkan adalah active contour dan max tree dengan ltering menggunakan branches ltering. Kedua metode tersebut digunakan pada tiga segmentasi yaitu segmentasi sel darah dari latar belakang segmentasi citra sel darah terinfeksi dari sel darah sehat dan segmentasi plasmodium dari sel darah. Dari hasil percobaan pada 120 citra sel darah yang terdiri dari 40 plasmodium fase ring 40 plasmodium fase ropozoit dan 40 plasmodium fase schizonts dihasilkan rata-rata akurasi segmentasi sel darah dari latar belakang sebesar 0.96 segmentasi sel darah terinfeksi dari sel darah sehat sebesar 0.94 dan segmentasi plasmodium dari sel darah sebesar 0.92.


ABSTRACT

Requirement for accurate and rapid diagnose of malaria in indonesia is high considering that this disease frequently occurs in isolated areas. To fulll that requirement telematic and computer engineering of electrial engineering of ITS propose portable intelligent system for automatic identication of malaria is called M-Analyzer. This intelligent portable system consists of three modules which are acquisition module segmentation module and classication module. The role of this research is to apply the appropriate method on the segmentation module. The proposed segmentation methods are active contour and max tree with ltering using branches ltering. Both active contour and max tree are used in segmentation of blood cells from the background segmentation of infected blood cells from healthy blood cells and segmentation of plasmodium from blood cells. From the experiments on 120 images of blood cells that consist of 40 ring phase of plasmodium 40 tropozoit phase of plasmodium and 40 schizonts phase of plasmodium 0.96 accuracy for segmentation of blood cells from background 0.94 accuracy for segmentation of infected blood cells from healthy blood cells and 0.92 accuracy for segmentation of plasmodium from blood cells were produced.
