ABSTRAK

Pupuk organik adalah pupuk yang berasal dari sisa-sisa tanaman hewan atau manusia seperti pupuk kandang pupuk hijau dan kompos baik yang berbentuk cair maupun padat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis bakteri yang optimal sebagai campuran pupuk organik pada tanaman tomat dan melihat perbedaan pertumbuhan tanaman bila menggunakan pupuk NPK pupuk organik dan tanpa pupuk. Secara garis besar penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil pupuk organik dari berbagai macam mikroorganisme khususnya mikroorganisme penambat N dan mikroorganisme pelarut P yang dibutuhkan oleh tanaman dengan pupuk NPK dan tanpa pupuk. Uji analisa menggunakan metode counting chamber untuk mengetahui perkembangan jumlah sel mikroorganisme dalam masing-masing variabel tanah dan analisa kadar N P dan K masing-masing dengan menggunakan metode kjeldahl untuk analisa kadar N spektrofotometri untuk analisa kadar P dan flamefotometri untuk analisa kadar K. Pupuk yang paling optimal lebih cepat menghasilkan buah bila digunakan pada tanaman tomat adalah pupuk organik dengan penambahan pelarut P dibandingkan dengan tanpa pupuk atau dengan pupuk NPK. Namun untuk pupuk NPK hasil pada pertumbuhan tanaman batang dan daunnya menjadi lebih besar tetapi kandungan air dalam tanah menjadi sedikit dan daun tanaman terlihat layu.


ABSTRACT

Organic fertilizer is a fertilizer that derived from the remained of plants animals or humans such as poultry manure and compost either liquid or solid. This study aims to determine the most optimal of microorganismss variety as a mixture of organic fertilizer on tomato plants and want to see the differences of the plant growths height when using NPK fertilizer organic fertilizer and without fertilizer. In general this research is going to make organic fertilizer from variety of microorganisms particularly microorganisms N-fastening and microorganisms P-solubilizer that is required by plants. The analysis are carried out by using counting chamber in order to know the total growth of microorganisms in every variable and analizing N P and K which using kjeldahl method for analizing N spectrophotometer for analizing P and flamephotometer for analizing K. The most optimal fertilizer grow tomatos fruit faster that applied in tomato plant is by adding P-solubilizer than without fertilizer or with NPK fertilizer. But by adding NPK fertilizer the leaves and stem became bigger and wider. However the percentage of water in its soil was decreased and the plants looked withered.
