Didalam dunia konstruksi, struktur yang paling awal menjadi perhatian adalah pelat lantai. Pelat adalah struktur yang pertama kali menerima beban, baik dari beban mati maupun beban hidup. Didalam perencanaannya, struktur pelat harus kuat menerima bermacam-macam beban. Timbullah suatu pemikiran untuk mempermudah mencari kebutuhan tulangan.Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengacu pada peraturan yang berlaku di negara Indonesia, yakni SNI 03-2847-2002 dan PBI 1971. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan program bantu, yakni SAP2000. Parameter-parameter yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini adalah lebar pelat, tebal pelat, panjang pelat, dan beban-beban yang bekerja pada pelat lantai. Hasil akhir dari penelitian adalah tabel. Tabel berisi dimensi pelat yang bervariasi dan dilengkapi dengan diameter tulangan yang dibutuhkan.

In the world of construction, the earliest structure of concern is the floor plate. Plates are the first structures to receive the load, either from dead load and live load. In planning, the structure must be strong plate receive various loads. There arises a thought to facilitate the search for research of reinforcement needs done with reference to the regulations in the state of Indonesia, namely SNI 03-2847-2002 and PBI 1971. In this study using the auxiliary program, the SAP2000. The parameters required in this study is the width of the plate, thick plate, plate length, and the loads acting on the slab floor. Final results of the study is a table. The table contains the dimensions of the plate that varies and is equipped with a diameter of reinforcement required.
