ABSTRAK

Indonesia terletak pada lokasi yang rawan gempa bumi tetapi banyak bangunan yang didirikan tanpa memerhatikan prinsip-prinsip bangunan tahan gempa. Di antara prinsip tahan gempa adalah memiliki dynamic absorber yakni suatu peredam getaran pada bangunan sehingga gempa yang merusak bangunan akan bisa diperkecil untuk menghindari korban jiwa. Dalam tugas akhir ini ditentukan parameter dynamic absorber untuk peredam getaran bangunan berlantai dua. Dengan merubah 5 parameter k c dan m setelah itu menggunakan perhitungan state space dan bantuan software Matchad diperoleh parameter k sebesar 400 Nm2 c sebesar 703 Nm2 dan m sebesar 140 kN untuk daerah dengan gempa 7 SR. Adapun untuk daerah yang mengalami gempa 8 SR parameter dynamic absorber adalah 900 Nm2 untuk k 703 Nm2 untuk c dan 190 kN untuk m.


ABSTRACT

Indonesia lies in a location prone to earthquakes but many buildings built without regard to principles of earthquake resistant buildings. Among the principles of earthquake resistant is to have a dynamic vibration absorber which is a damper on the building so that the earthquake damaged the building will be minimized to avoid loss of life. In this final set of parameters for the vibration-damping dynamic absorber two-story building. Using state space calculation and the help of software Matchad obtained by 400 Nm2 parameters k c at 703 Nm2 and m for 140 kN to an area with earthquake 7 SR. As for areas that experienced an earthquake 8 SR absorbernya dynamic parameter is 900 Nm2 for k 703 Nm2 for c and 190 kN for m.
