STUDI PERILAKU MODEL PANEL DINDING BATA PENGISI PADA STRUKTUR BETON BERTULANG

BEHAVIOUR STUDY OF INFILLED BRICK WALL PANEL IN REINFORCED CONCRETE STRUCTURE

ABSTRAK

Kerusakan terbanyak akibat gempa yang terjadi di Indonesia adalah pada bangunan sederhana dengan dinding pengisi batu bata. Hal ini disebabkan bangunan sederhana termasuk sebagai non engineering building. Penetapan dinding bata sebagai komponen non-struktural dalam SNI juga menyebabkan kekuatan dan kekakuan yang dimiliki dinding bata tidak diperhitungkan dalam perencanaan. Namun kenyataannya dinding bata memiliki nilai kekuatan dan kekakuan yang berpengaruh secara signifikan untuk bangunan sederhana. Dalam studi ini dibuat 3 buah model panel struktur beton bertulang yaitu dengan lebar 4 m 3 m dan 2 m terdiri dari satu tingkat berfungsi sebagai hunian berada di zona gempa 6 tanah lunak dan direncanakan menggunakan analisa struktur berbasis gaya Force Based Design. Konfigurasi balok dan kolom yang didapatkan selanjutnya dianalisa dengan dinding yang divariasi susunan dan pembatasnya. Ketebalan dinding diasumsikan sebagai susunan satu bata dan setengah bata dengan tiga dan empat pembatas. Pada analisa struktur dinding bata pengisi dimodelkan sebagai bracing tekan. Sehingga jumlah total model yang dianalisa adalah sejumlah 12 buah. Hasil studi menunjukan bahwa struktur dengan dinding pengisi batu bata memiliki nilai daktilitas yang lebih baik dan kapasitas base share yang lebih besar bila dibandingkan dengan struktur open frame. Dari evaluasi kinerjanya struktur dengan dinding pengisi batu bata mampu mencapai range Life Safety-Collapse Prevention sedangkan struktur open frame hanya mampu berada pada daerah Immediate Occupancy. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa struktur dengan dinding pengisi batu bata memiliki perilaku yang lebih baik bila dibandingkan dengan struktur open frame. Karenanya kekuatan dan kekakuan dinding bata pengisi perlu diperhatikan dalam


ABSTRACT

The most damage properties when an earthquake happens in Indonesia is occurred in the simple building with infilled brick wall. It was caused the building is classified as a non engineering building. In SNI the determination of the brick wall as nonstructural component are causing the strength and stiffness of the bricwall are never calculated in the building design process. In fact the strength and stiffness of the brick wall ae significantly affected the behavior of the simple house building. In this study there are three panel model of reinforced concrete structure with 4 m 3 m and 2 m in width with both of them are one story building and functioned as residential located in the high risk Indonesian seismic zone zone 6 and designed using force based structural design. After the beam and column properties are obtained then it is analyzed simultaneously with the brick wall with different arrangement and boundaries. the thickness of the brick wall was assumed as one and half brick arrangement with three and four faces boundary. moreover in the structural analysis the brick wall are modeled as compression bracing. therefore there are 12 different structural model that being analyzed. The result of this study shows that the structural system with infilled brick wall has better ductility value and higher base share capacity compared to the open frame structural system. Additionally the performance evaluation present the structural system with infilled brick wall are able to achieve the Life Safety Collapse Prevention range instead of open frame structural system which is only achieve the Immediate Occupancy category.
