Indonesia dengan 2/3 wilayahnya adalah perairan memiliki potensi sumber daya kelautan yang sangat besar. Salah satunya adalah energi gelombang air laut. Mendayagunakan energi gelombang air laut yang merupakan energi terbarukan yang anti polusi, ramah lingkungan dan awet sepanjang masa sangatlah menguntungkan. Untuk itu dikembangkanlah teknologi Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gelombang Laut Sistem Bandul (PLTGL-SB). Pada Tugas Akhir ini dilakukan pengujian dengan memodelkan mekanisme alat simulator Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gelombang Laut Sistem Bandul (PLTGL-SB) Konis dimana pendulum yang telah disambungkan dengan generator akan berputar akibat ponton yang bergerak naik turun seperti simulasi gelombang laut. Pengujian dilakukan dengan mengkondisikan massa pendulum dan sudut konis tetap yaitu 300 gram dan 60°. Variasi dilakukan pada panjang lengan pendulum, putaran motor dan jari-jari pulley. Variasi panjang lengan pendulum yaitu 15 cm, 18 cm dan 21 cm. Variasi putaran motor yaitu 6 rpm, 10 rpm dan 20 rpm. Variasi jari-jari crank yaitu 2 cm, 4 cm dan 6 cm. Dilakukan 5 kali pengujian untuk tiap variasi yang ditetapkan. Dari percobaan ini didapatkan pada simulator Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gelombang Laut Sistem Bandul (PLTGL-SB) konis adalah voltase bangkitan paling besar pada panjang lengan pendulum 21 cm, putaran motor 20 rpm, jari-jari crank 6 cm dan sudut 70° sedangkan pola gerak bandul paling baik pada panjang lengan pendulum 21 cm, putaran motor 20 rpm, jari-jari crank 6 cm dan sudut konis 45°.

Indonesia with 2/3 region is waters that having a big potential of marine resources. One of them is the energy of sea wave. Energy utilizing sea wave which is an anti pollution renewable energy, environmentally friendly and durable is very favorable. Therefore is developed technology sea wave electrical generator-pendulum system. In this thesis, experiment has done by modelling the mechanism of the simulator of sea wave electrical generator-conical pendulum system which pendulum has been connected to generator. It will rotate due ponton’s moving up and down like simulation of sea wave. Experiment is done by conditioning the pendulum mass and conical angle are 300 gram and 60°. Variation performed on the length of the pendulum arm, motor rotation and the radius of crank. Variation in the length of a pendulum arm are 15 cm, 18 cm and 21 cm. Variation of motor rotations are 6 rpm, 10 rpm and 20 rpm. Variation of the radius crank are 2 cm, 4 cm and 6 cm. It done 5 times for each variation defined. Based on this experiment, had gotten from the the simulator of sea wave electrical generator-conical pendulum system is the biggest generated voltage in length of a pendulum arm 21 cm, motor rotation 20 rpm, the radius crank 6 cm and conical angle 70° whereas the best pendulum’s movement model in length of a pendulum arm 21 cm, motor rotation 20 rpm, the radius crank 6 cm and conical angle 45° .
