ABSTRAK

Deaerator adalah alat yang berfungsi untuk menghilangkan kandungan oksigen atau gas-gas terlarut lainnya pada feed water sebelum masuk ke boiler. Deaerator bekerja berdasarkan sifat oksigen yang kelarutannya pada air akan berkurang dengan adanya kenaikan suhu. Level pada deaerator perlu dikendalikan untuk menjaga kestabilan pasokan air ke boiler. Perancangan pengendali fuzzy gain scheduling-PI dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan performansi yang lebih baik dari pengendali konvensional PI. Berdasarkan simulasi diketahui bahwa pengendali fuzzy gain scheduling-PI memeliki respon output yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pengendali PI. Untuk pengendali PI didapatkan nilai maximum overshoot 1656 settling time 682 detik. Sedangkan untuk fuzzy gain scheduling - PI didapatkan nilai Maximum overshoot 0 settling time 300 detik.


ABSTRACT

Deaerator is a device that serves to remove oxygen or other gases dissolved in the feed water before entering the boiler. Deaerator works based on the nature of oxygen solubility in water decreases with an increase in temperature. Level in deaerator should be controlled to maintain a stable water supply to the boiler. Design of fuzzy gain scheduling-PI controller conducted with the aim to obtain a better performance than conventional controllers PI. Based on the simulation is known that fuzzy gain scheduling-PI controller have a better output response than the PI controller. For PI controller obtained maximum overshoot 16.56 settling time 682 seconds. Meanwhile for the fuzzy gain scheduling - PI obtained the value of Maximum overshoot 0 settling time 300 seconds.
