ABSTRAK

Telah diketahui bahwa pada sebagian besar proses penyambungan pada kapal menggunakan proses las dan beberapa bagian yang lain yang tidak menggunakan proses las tetapi menggunakan material yang umumnya bersifat ferromagnetic seperti halnya poros dan beberapa bagian dek pada kapal semua bagian kapal tersebut diharapkan selalu dalam kondisi yang baik dalam arti terhindar dan bebas dari cacat atau keretakan bila pada bagian sambungan las ataupun bagian yang lain mengalami keretakan akan sangat membahayakan kondisi kapal tersebut. Proses pengelasan pada pembangunan kapal sangat penting karena sambungan antar pelat berpengaruh besar terhadap antar las-lasan sehingga diperlukan ketelitian dalam pengerjaan baik secara visual maupun dengan pengujian material hal ini membutuhkan keahlian dan ketepatan dari pengelas welderatau inspektur las welding inspector dan hal ini tidak dukungnya alat yang memudahkan dalam pengecekan hsil las-lasan dimaandn dibutuhkan alat yang memiliki tingkat efisiensi yang baik serta kecepatan pengerjaan yang baik dengan biaya yang relative murah. Dalam penelitian ini alat pengujian yoke prinsip kerjanya mengamati bagian permukaan sub surface dilakukan dengan manual maka dibuatlah alat yoke semi automatic yang dapat memudahkan proses inspeksi pada bangunan kapal yang memilki efisiensi serta kecepatan yang baik dalam pengecekan hasil las-lasan. Dengan alat yoke semi automatic ini dapat mendeteksi keretkan material yng membentuk sudut 45 derajat samapi 90 derajat terhadap garis gaya magnet.


ABSTRACT

As we know that most of join process for ship use welding processed and some of other part is not use welding processed but use material that have ferromagnetic characteristic like shaft and deck plate on ship all of the ship part is supposed in a good condition it means that far from and free from defect. if in the joining welding part or other defect of part will be dangerous for that ship condition. Welding process in ship building is very important because joining plate have big influence for the welding so that it needs full concentration of processing both for visual and material testing it needs competency and concentration from the welder or welding inspector. And this things does not have supported material that make easier for checking welding productit needs material that have good efficiency grade and good fasting process with low price. In this research yoke device using manual for detect area surface and sub surface from this condition is maked semi automatic yoke can be make easier on ship building so this yoke had efficiency and speed more faster than manual with semi automatic yoke can be detect discontinuity crack of material which from 45 toward magnetic force line.
