ANALISA NUMERIK PENGARUH JARAK SILINDER OSILASI DENGAN PERMUKAAN AIR TERHADAP DAYA LISTRIK TENAGA VORTEX ARUS LAUT
NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF DISTANCE BETWEEN OSCULATING PART AND SURFACE WATER DUE TO OCEAN CURRENT VORTEX ELECTRICITY

ABSTRAK
Kebutuhan akan energi dunia berbanding lurus dengan jumlah penduduk dan kemajuan teknologi dan berbanding terbalik dengan ketersediaan sumber energi utama yaitu energi fosil. Untuk mengatasinya perlu dikembangkan sumber energi alternatif lain yang efektif dan efisien salah satunya adalah Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Vortex Arus Laut PLTV-AL. Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh jarak silinder osilasi PLT-VL dengan permukaan air d terhadap amplitudo maksimum A.maks. silinder osilasi enggunakan perangkat lunak ANSYS 11.0 komputasi dinamika fluida dengan metode elemen hingga . Analisa yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa pada jarak minimum d 3 D permukaan air tidak lagi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap amplitudo maksimum silinder osilasi yang terjadi. Dari jarak minimum tersebut diperoleh A.maks 024 m dan frekuensi 022 Hz dengan nilai Re 892E04. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa pada jarak tersebut daya listrik maksimum yang diproduksi PLTV-AL ialah sebesar 209 watt.
ABSTRACT
The needed of world energy equals to residents and technology development and opposites with the provision of main energy is fossil energy. To exceed this problem the development of effectively and efficiently alternative energy is needed. One of it is ocean current vortex power electricity. This research discuss about the influence of distance between osculating part and surface water d due to maximum amplitude of osculating part using software ANSYS 11.0 coputatinal fluid dynamic with finite element method . Analyzing shows that minimum distance of d is 3 D surface water is not significant more to influence the maximum amplitude of osculating part. From this distance obtained that maximum amplitude is 024 m and the frequency is 022 Hz at Reynold Number 892E04. This research is also shows that mono osculating part of ocean current vortex power electricity can produce 209 watt as a maximum power.
