TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT DUE TO OPERATION OF TRAM AT RAYA DARMO STREET SURABAYA

ABSTRAK

Permasalahan transportasi di kota Surabaya salah satunya adalah kemacetan sarana transportasi massal trem dengan kualitas baik aman dan nyaman bagi pengguna adalah solusi yang bisa dikembangkan. Akibat adanya trem kinerja lalu lintas mengalami perubahan dan perlu dianalisis serta dilakukan manajemen lalu lintas. Kondisi lalu lintas setelah adanya trem dapat dilakukan dengan mengurangi arus lalu-lintas pada kondisi puncak yang dikalikan dengan probabilitas perpindahan angkutan pribadi ke trem sebagai demand trem sebesar 20 masing-masing untuk mobil dan sepeda motor serta pengurangan lajur untuk trem sedangkan manajemen lalu lintas menggunakan teori Traffic Demand Management TDM dengan beberapa syarat sehingga akan terjadi pengurangan volume lalu lintas sebesar 35. Derajat Kejenuhan DS di Jalan Raya Darmo pada simpang ruas dan jalinan sebelum dan sesudah adanya trem nilainya rata-rata diatas 075 dan setelah dilakukan manajemen lalu lintas nilainya DS075 sedangkan untuk manajemen u-turn diperlukan rambu lampu lalu lintas menggunakan detector agar tidak terjadi konflik dengan trem dengan indikator nilai waktu tunggu serta headway trem.


ABSTRACT

One example of transportation problems in Surabaya is traffic jam. Mass transportation tram with good quality safe and convenient for the user are the solution that can be developed. The existence of tram gives a change to traffic performance and it needs to be analyzed and makes the traffic management. The traffic conditions after tram can be done by reducing the traffic flow at peak condition that multiplied by the probability of private transportation movement to tram as the tram demand by 20 each for cars and motorcycles as well a reduction in tram lanes while for traffic management using theory of traffic Demand Management TDM with some terms that will be a reduction in traffic volume by 35. The value of Degree Saturation DS at intersections roads and weaving Jalan Raya Darmo before and after the tram is above 0.75 and after the traffic management the value of DS 0.75 while the management of U-turn required traffic light using detector to avoid conflicts with the tram with the indicator value of wait time and tram headway.
