ABSTRAK

Trimaran merupakan kapal multihulled memiliki hambatan yang rendah dibandingkan dengan kapal monohull dan catamarandengan ukuran dan power yang sepadan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh sarat yang rendah tetapi memiliki gerakan heave dan pitch yang besar. Motions ini memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap added wave resistance added power dan speed loss. Untuk memperbesar persentasepermasalahan ini akan dikalkulasi terhadap sea state 3 sampai 7. Perhitungan added wave resistance dikalkulasi menurut Gerritsma dan Beukelman serta dibandingkan dengan perhitungan Havelock dan Joosen sedangkan added power menggunakan pendekatan EHP Effisiensi Horse Power dan hasil perhitungan speed loss berdasarkan selisih grafik antara speed dan power di air tenang dan gelombang irregular pada nilai MCR yang samaSerta menghitung biaya pelayaran. Setelah dianalisaAdded wave resistance dan power di gelombang irregular memiliki perbandingan nilai antar 2 metode RMS Root Means Square Dengan metode Havelock nilai RMS Root Means Square terbesar 24.453 sedangkan dengan metode Joosen nilai RMS terbesar 6.048. Sedangkan kenaikan persentase speed Loss pada kapal trimaran ini Metode Havelock terbesar sebesar 4.061 Metode Joosen nilai terbesar sebesar 4.061 dan Metode Gerritsma dan Beukelman nilai terbesar sebesar 8.563 dan nilai persentase kenaikan biaya operational Metode Havelock nilai terbesar sebesar 22.9069 Metode joosen nilai terbesar 10.9257 dan Metode Gerritsma dan Beukelmannilai terbesar 19.1521.Sehingga dapat disimpulkan Kapal ini memiliki nilai added resistance added power dan speed loss yang kecil hal ini menunjukan bahwa nilai seakeeping dan manuver pada kapal ini bagus.


ABSTRACT

Trimaran a multihulled ship that have a lower resistance than a monohull and catamarans ship that have a same size and power. The cause is the low of draft but it have a big heave and pitch motion. These motions has big affection to added wave resistance added power and speed loss. To increase the percentage this problems will be calculated from sea state 3 to sea state 7. Added wave resistance is calculated according to Gerritsma and Beukelman and so it is compared to Havelock and Joosen calculation while the added power calculation are using the EHP Efficiency Horse Power approach and the result of speed loss calculation based on graphical difference between speed and power on still water and irregular wave at the same MCR value also to calculate the voyage cost. After the analysis the result of the added wave resistance and power calculation has a comparison value between 2 RMS Root Means Square methods. The calculation using the Havelock method the biggest RMS value are 24.453 while using the Joosen method the biggest RMS value are 6.048. This Trimarans has an increase of speed loss percentage using the Havelock method with biggest value of 4.061same value using the Joosen method while it is 8.563 using the Gerritsma and Beukelman method. Followed by the increasing of operational cost using the Havelock method with greatest value of 22.9069 The Joosens with greatest value of 10.9257 while using Gerritsma and Beukelmann the greatest value are 19.1521. The conclusion is this ship has a small added resistance added power and speed loss this thingsshows the ship has good seakeeping and maneuver.
