ABSTRAK

PLTGL-SB adalah salah satu pembangkit listrik yang sumber energinya dari gelombang laut yang kemudian memutar bandul dengan kondisi gelombang laut yang tidak menentu akan membuat putaran bandul tidak konstan salah satu penyebabnya adalah ponton terletak pada pertemuan gelombang balik dan gelombang menuju pantai sehingga ponton terletak pada pertemuan dua gelombang yang berlawanan arah yang mengakibatkan bandul yang berputar seperti mengalami pengereman. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu mekanisme penyimpanan energi terbuang saat pengereman. Kebutuhan ini dapat terpenuhi dengan adanya flywheel. Melalui skala pemodelan PLGL-SB dilakukan eksperimen pengaruh massa roda gila terhadap daya keluaran generator Pengujian dilakukan dengan variasi massa rodagila yaitu sebesar 0 gram 500 gram 750 gram dan 1000 gram. variasi sudut kemiringan ponton 5o 10o dan 15o. Dan variasi periode olakan ponton 1 2 dan 4 detik. Pengujian dilakukan sebanyak 5 kali setiap variasi percobaan


ABSTRACT

sea wave power plants-pendulum system is one of the power pant of renewable energy from ocean waves and then rotate the pendulum with the condition of the sea waves of uncertainty would make the rounds of the pendulum is not constant one reason is the pontoon located at the confluence rip current and waves toward the shore so pontoon located at the confluence of two waves in the opposite direction resulting in a pendulum that rotates like experiencing braking. Therefore we need a mechanism for storing energy wasted during braking. This need can be solved with the flywheel. Through modeling scale sea wave power plants-pendulum system performed experiments the influence of the mass of the flywheel to the output power of the generator tests are performed with flywheel mass variations in the amount of 0 grams 500 grams 750 grams and 1000 grams. variation of the angle of the pontoon 5o 10o and 15o. And variations in the period of eddy pontoon 1 2 and 4 seconds. Tests performed 5 times each variation experiment
