ABSTRAK

Dalam proses penggelaran pipa bawah laut banyak sekali resiko yang dapat mengakibatkan struktur pipa gagal yang dapat mengakibatkan kerugian waktu material dapat berujung pada kerugian berbentuk materi. Karena berbeda dengan instalasi pipa di darat penggelaran pipa bawah laut mendapatkan banyak pengaruh dalam proses instalasinya mulai dari tekanan dalam laut yang harus di perhitungan besarnya kecepatan arus besarnya gelobang dan tentunya faktor kedalaman dasar laut yang bervariasi. Tugas akhir ini dilakukan untuk mengestimasikan minimum bending stress yang terjadi pada daerah kritis agar sesuai dengan kriteria desain guna menghindari kegagalan pada proses instalasi dalam hal ini terjadinya buckling pada beberapa segmen pipa. Metode instalasi yang diamati ialah metode S-Lay. Dari hasil analisis pipa pada kasus ini dapat disimpulkan instalasi pipa tidak mengalami overstress maupun risiko local buckling serta propagation buckling di daerah manapun ini dikarenakan nilai tegangan yang terjadi pada area sagbend dan overbend masih memenuhi kriteria yakni masih kurang dari 87 SMYS pipa untuk standart DNV OS F101 Submarine Pipeline System dan masih kurang dari 85 SMYS pipa untuk standart DNV 1981 . Serta telah dilakukan validasi menggunakan software yang berbasis finite element yang untuk menampilkan pergerakan pipa serta persebaran tegangannya dan pipa dapat dikatakan aman.


ABSTRACT

In the process of deploying subsea pipelines a lot of risks that can lead the failure of pipe structurel.The risks can lead to loss of time materials and can influence the loss investment. The deploying subsea pipeline is different with the onshore pipeline installation deployment of subsea pipelines gets a lot of influence in the installation process. It begin from the internal deep sea pressure should be calculated flow velocity the wave magnitude and a factor that varies of the sea depth floor. This final task is performed to estimate the minimum bending stress that occurs in the critical region to fit the design criteria in order to avoid failures in the installation process in this case the occurrence of buckling is in several segments of pipe. The installation method that will be observed is S-Lay method. From the stress analysis in this case it can be concluded that overstress the pipe installation and the risk of buckling and local buckling propagation in any area is not occur this is because the value of the stress in overbend and sagbend areas is below the stress criteria which is still less than 87 SMYS pipe to DNV standard OS F101 Submarine pipeline Systems and still less than 85 SMYS to DNV 1981 standard for pipeline. And has been validated using Finite Element software to show the movement of the pipe and the stress distribution. The conclusion on this study is the pipeline that has been observed is safe.
