PERANCANGAN PENGENDALIAN KEBISINGAN PADA MESIN MULTIFOLD DI PT LOTUS INDAH TEXTILE INDUSTRIES-SURABAYA

NOISE CONTROL DESIGN ON MUTIFOLD MACHINE IN PT LOTUS INDAH TEXTILE INDUTRIES-SURABAYA

ABSTRAK

PT. Lotus Indah Textile Industries merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi benang. Pada proses produksi benang sebelum sampai pada pelanggan harus melalui beberapa proses. Salah satunya di proses pada mesin multifold yaitu proses pelintingan benang dalam bentuk benang besar. Dimana pada pada ruang mesin multifold memiliki kebisingan yang melebihi NAB yaitu sebesar 1076 dBA. Berdasarkan Keputusan Menteri Tenaga Kerja RI No. Kep 51MEN1999 pasal 3 ayat 1 yang menyebutkan bahwa NAB kebisingan ditetapkan sebesar 85 dBA. Karena itu dibutuhkan pengendalian kebisingan agar kebisingan dibawah NAB. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengukuran kebisingan sebanyak 126 titik dengan mengukur 3 kali pada setiap titiknya dengan menggunakan sound level meter. Kemudian setelah didapat hasil pengukuran maka dilakukannya pembuatan peta kebisingan dengan menggunakan program surfer 8. Program ini untuk dapat mempermudah pembacaan daerah mana sajakah yang terpapar kebisingan. Area yang memiliki tingkat kebisingan yang tinggi dilakukan pengendalian. Dalam pemilihan material dilakukan menggunakan perhitungan pada kayu kaca fiber dan gypsum. Guna melakukan perhitungan pada beberapa material tersebut agar dapat mengetahui material yang lebih besar dalam mereduksi kebisingan. Dilakukannya perhitungan estimasi biaya untuk mengetahui biaya minimal dari pemasangan enclosure. Pengendalian kebisingan dilakukan dengan desain enclosure material wood kayu dengan tebal 004 m dan tinggi 3 meter. Pada pengendalian ini untuk type twister ICST memiliki noise reduction sebesar 3717 dBA dengan biaya sebesar Rp. 31.814.000 sedangkan untuk type volkmann 64 spindels memiliki noise reduction sebesar 4233 dBA dengan biaya sebesar Rp. 12.494.000.


ABSTRACT

PT Lotus Indah Textile Industries is a company producing yarn. In the yarn production process before reaching to customers it should passed through several processes one of them is the process in the multifold machine is a machine to process the yarn in large numbe.The space in this machine is very noisy with the noise of more than AB 1076 dBA. Based on the Decree of Workforce Minister of the Republic of Indonesia of o. Kep 51ME1999 section 3 subsection 1 mentioned that The oise Threshold Value established of 85 dBA. Therefore the noise control is needed so that the noise is below the Threshold Value. In this research the conducted noise measurement is done more than as 126 points by measuring 3 times on each points by using sound level meter. Then after getting the result of measurement then the noise map by using the surfer 8 program is done. This program was aimed in order to be able to read the location of which areas were exposed to the noise. In the areas having high noise level the control were made. In material selection the calculation is carried out to ward wood common glass fiberboard glass and gypsum in the order to notice the kinds of material which can reduce the noise. The cost estimation is done in order to know the minimal cost of enclosure installation. oise control was done by using the wood material enclosure design with the thickness of 004 meters and heighht of 3 meters. In this control for twister icst type had the noise reduction of 3717 dBA with cost of Rp. 31.814.000 while for volkmann 64 spindels type had the noise reduction of 4233 dBA with cost of Rp. 12.494.000.
