ANALISA PENURUNAN TEKANAN PADA SISTEM PERPIPAAN TURBIN UAP PENGGILINGAN DI PABRIK GULA CANDI SIDOARJO

PRESSURE DROP ANALYSIS AT ROLL STEAM TURBINE PIPING SYSTEM IN CANDI SIDOARJO SUGAR FACTORY

ABSTRAK

Penurunan tekanan pipa pada pabrik dapat menyebabkan pabrik tidak beroperasi secara maksimal dan produktifitas kerja berkurang. Perpipaan steam system di pabrik gula Candi Sidoarjo sudah beroperasi selama kurang lebih 25 tahun sehingga berpotensi mengalami penurunan tekanan. Untuk meminimalkan penurunan tekanan diperlukan suatu desain yang tepat. Oleh karena itu analisa penurunan tekanan pada pipa perlu dilakukan juga.Penurunan tekanan dapat disebabkan karena gesekan fluida sepanjang jalur pipa dan pemilihan diameter yang kurang tepat. Fluida dengan energi gesekan yang tinggi mengakibatkan hilangnya energi yang cukup besar. Potensi penurunan tekanan pada analisa ini dapat dinyatakan dengan faktor 916p yaitu penurunan tekanan Analisa ini dilakukan pada steam system yang terdiri dari bagian steam header hingga turbine lead. Syarat batas didapat dari literatur maupun dari aturan yang berlaku di lapangan Hasil analisa dan studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa untuk panjang pipa yang panjang dan diameter yang relatif kecil ada penurunan tekanan yang lebih tinggi. Penurunan tekanan pada jalur steam header hingga turbine lead adalah sebelum optimasi 1.3 kgcm2sedangkan sesudah optimasi adalah 1.13 kgcm2. Pengoptimasian dilakukan dengan memperpendek jalur pipa yang semula 84.5 meter menjadi 54.5 meter .Berdasarkan hasil analisa diketahui penghematan headloss sebesar 464.3 meter.


ABSTRACT

Pipe pressure drop at plant can caused plant does not operate optimally and reduce work performance. Piping steam system at candi sudoarjo cane sugar factory had been operated aprroximatelly 25 years so its potential to meet pressure drop. To minimize pressure drop appropriate design must be fulfill. Hence pressure drop analysis on pipeline needs to be done.Pressure drop can be caused by fluids friction through pipeline and inappropriate diameter selection. Fluid with high friction energy can caused considarable loss of energy. Potential pressure drop in this analysis is stated with 916p which is pressure drop. This pressure drop analysis is done frome steam header untill turbine lead. Term of limits are obtained from literature and rules thats commonly used in plant According to analysis result and literature shows that pipe length and relatively small diameter higher pressure drop is occurred. Pressure drop in steam header until turbine leads pipeline before optimizing is 1.3 kgcm2and after optimizing is 1.13 kgcm2. Optimilitaion is shortened pipeline from 84.5 meter to 54.5 meter. Based on analisys result 464.3 meter headloss was saved.
