DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE RFID INFRASTRUCTURE FOR LOST PILGRIMS MANAGEMENT IN THE HOLY LAND

ABSTRAK

Pada proses pemberangkatan jamaah haji masih sering dijumpai berbagai permasalahan. Salah satu diantaranya adalah masih sering dijumpai jamaah haji yang tersesat saat melakukan proses ibadah ataupun saat berpergian di tanah suci. Hal ini terjadi karena sebagian besar jamaah haji tidak bisa berkomunikasi dengan bahasa setempat ataupun bahasa Indonesia dan kurangnya kemampuan baca tulis yang dialami jamaah haji lanjut usia yang berasal dari daerah. Selain itu juga sebagian besar jamaah haji lanjut usia sulit untuk mengoperasikan alat komunikasi. Dengan demikian diperlukan suatu alat yang dapat dioperasikan dengan mudah dan diharapkan dapat digunakan untuk penanggulangan jamaah haji tersesat. Pada proyek akhir ini dibuat sebuah alat yang dapat menentukan posisi jamaah haji tersesat menggunakan teknologi RFID dengan cara mendekatkan ID jamaah pada RFID reader yang selanjutnya disebut sebagai node setelah itu node akan mengirim data ke database server dan server mengirim informasi ke ketua kloter ketua regu dan petugas sektor mengunakan SMS gateway. Berdasarkan analisa hasil pengujian dapat disimpulkan bahwa jenis material penghalang mempengaruhi radius pembacaan RFID reader. Untuk mendapatkan jarak pembacaan paling maksimal dilakukan pembacaan pada bagian depan dan posisi RFID tag horizontal terhadap permukaan RFID reader. Sinyal keluaran RFID reader berupa sinyal digital yang sudah ter-coding. Nilai delay tidak dipengaruhi jumlah ID yang dikirim saat proses multiplexing karena pengiriman pesan berdasarkan nilai timer 20 detik.Waktu delay yang diperlukan saat pengiriman informasi tersesat dan konfirmasi penemuan untuk sampai ke petugas sektor ketua regu dan ketua kloter nilainya saling mendekati. Terjadi perbedaan nilai delay karena pengaruh traffic dari operator yang digunakan pada saat itu.


ABSTRACT

The lost pilgrim is such a big problem in the hajj event. Indonesia as the sender of the largest amount of pilgrims has a solution to minimize this problem. Using a uniqe bracelet completed with the identification of each pilgrim hopefully will solve the problem. However as we know more than 50 of Indonesias pilgrims have difficulty on English or Arabian speaking. The low standart educational is the main factor of the loss communication availability. The other serious problem is their minimum of technology knowledge. In this final project use RFID technology system a solution to minimize the lost pilgrims in Holy Land without communication skill requirement. Using this system the lost pilgrim have to put their RFID card in front of the node employed at eye-catching points around the Hajj area. The identification data and the location area of the pilgrim will be read by the server and send to the group head simultaneously. Next the position of the lost pilgrim will be found soon. Based on the analysis of measurement results can be concluded that type of obstacle material affects the radius of the reading RFID reader. To obtain the maximum reading distance use horizontal position of the RFID tag to the surface of the RFID reader. RFID reader output is digital signals that have been coding. Delay value is not affected by the number of ID when the process of multiplexing cause the message will sent every twenty seconds after the first ID saved. Delay of lost and confirmation sending message to the sector officer group and kloter head is approach another. There is a difference value cause influence of the operators traffic used at the time.
