ABSTRAK

Finite state machines FSM adalah salah satu kecerdasan buatan yang diimplementasikan pada game. Implementasi tersebut menghasilkan suatu urutan skenario tertentu pada game. Urutan skenario ini mudah ditebak oleh pemain game dan menjadi salah satu faktor utama game akan terasa membosankan untuk dimainkan lagi. Suatu game lebih tidak membosankan jika game tersebut memiliki skenario yang dinamik dengan membuat suatu variasi respon pada NPC Non-Playable Character . Hal ini bisa dicapai dengan mengimplementasikan suatu Non-Deterministic FSM pada game. Penelitian ini mengenai pemodelan Fuzzy State Machine dan implementasinya sebagai salah satu metode Non-Deterministic FSM pada sebuah game. Dengan adanya implementasi Fuzzy State Machine pada game diharapkan adanya variasi respon NPC ketika berinteraksi dengan player. Dengan demikian game bisa tidak membosankan untuk dimainkan berulang-ulang.


ABSTRACT

Finite state machine is one of articial intelligent which implemented in a game. The implementation of FSM in a game will result in a sequential scenario. This sequential scenario can be predicted by player easily and be one of the most factor that make the player feel bored when play the game again. If the game scenario is dynamic or the NPC response has variations the game will be better and player wont be bored to play again. This can be achieved using non-deterministic nite state machine in the game. This research is about Fuzzy State Machine and the implementation as one of the non-deterministic FSM in the game. With the implementation of Fuzzy State Machine hopefully the NPC respon variation can be achieved.
