ABSTRAK

Studi perilaku difusi hidrogen di dalam hidrogel PVA akan dilakukan untuk mengukur nilai koefisien difusi Apparent Diffusion Coefficient yang digunakan sebagai parameter penentuan grade tumor otak. Hidrogel PVA dibuat dengan metode kriogelasi melalui proses freezingthawing dengan variasi konsentrasi dan jumlah siklus. Keraguan penentuan grade tumor otak menggunakan nilai ADC pada Diffusion Weighted-Magnetic Resonance Imaging diharapkan dapat berkurang dengan mengetahui hasil korelasi nilai ADC yang didapat dengan mengaplikasikan parameter b-value 1000 smm2 dengan perkiraan nilai konsistensi bahan diukur dengan digital penetrometer berbasis mikrokontroler.


ABSTRACT

Diffusion Coefficient as grading parameters of brain tumor. PVA Hydrogel was prepared using Cryogelation method employing freezethaw cycles and various concentration and number of cycles. The ambiguity of brain tumor grading using Diffusion Weighted Imaging at MRI could be reduce with knowing the correlation of ADC value obtained by applying b-value parameter above 1000 smm2 with the assessment of consistency using digital penetrometer based on microcontroller
