OPTIMAL CONTROL OF MULTI-SUPPLIER INVENTORY MANAGEMENT WITH LEAD TIME

ABSTRAK

Pada persaingan global saat ini perusahaan-perusahaan dituntut untuk menghemat pengeluaran agar dapat terus bertahan. Salah satu pengeluaran yang dapat ditekan adalah biaya pengendalian persediaan. Untuk meminimalkan biaya tersebut diperlukan perencanaan dan pengelolaan yang tepat dalam manajemen persediaan. Pemesanan persediaan dilakukan pada periode waktu tertentu apalagi dengan permintaan konsumen yang tidak pasti perusahaan harus memperhitungkan kapan harus memesan pada pemasok dan berapa banyak yang harus dipesan. Dengan begitu tidak akan terjadi kelebihan persediaan di gudang karena terlalu banyak pesanan atau tidak dapat memenuhi permintaan konsumen karena terlambat atau terlalu sedikit memesan pada pemasok. Oleh karena itu pada penelitian ini digunakan model manajemen persediaan Multi-Supplier dengan lead time yang berbeda-beda untuk mengoptimalkan biaya persediaan. Untuk menyelesaikannya digunakan teori kendali optimal LQR Linear Quadratic Regulator. Dari hasil penyelesaian model manajemen persediaan diperoleh bahwa pada saat bobot semakin kecil mengakibatkan biaya persediaan yang semakin optimal.


ABSTRACT

In the current global competition companies are required to save money in order to survive. One of the expenses that can be reduced is the cost of inventory control. To minimize these costs required proper planning and management of the inventory management. Ordering supplies performed at a certain time period especially with uncertain demand the company must determine when to order at the supplier and how many should be ordered. So there will be no excess inventory in the warehouse because of too much ordering or because of the inventory can not meet demand due to late or too little order to supplier. Consequently in this research a quadratic cost functional used as objective function in multi-supplier inventory management problem with different lead time. Optimal control theory LQR Linear Quadratic Regulator is used to solve this problem. It concludes that the smaller weight resulted more optimal inventory cost.
