PENGARUH LAJU ALIRAN SUNGAI UTAMA DAN ANAK SUNGAI TERHADAP PROFIL SEDIMENTASI DI PERTEMUAN DUA SUNGAI MODEL SINUSOIDAL

ABSTRAK

Sungai merupakan aliran air permukaan yang mengalir ke tempat yang lebih rendah jumlahnya salah satunya bergantung dari daerah tangkapan air catchment area yang terdiri dari sebuah sungai dan anak sungainya yang disebut dengan confluence. Aliran air pada sungai selain mengalirkan air dari hulu ke hilir yang akhirnya ke laut juga mengalirkan material sedimen sebagai hasil dari proses erosi pada dinding ataupun dasar sungai. Proses terjadinya sedimentasi pada pertemuan sungai dapat dimodelkan secara matematis dan disimulasikan secara numerik. Pada Tugas Akhir ini dikembangkan model sedimentasi di pertemuan dua sungai model sinusoidal dengan menggunakan pendekatan volume hingga. Model ini selanjutnya diselesaikan dengan menggunakan metode beda hingga-Alternating Direction Implicit ADI dan hasil tersebut disimulasikan dengan menggunakan Matlab. Dari hasil simulasi diperoleh hasil bahwa semakin besar debit yang masuk dari sungai utama diperoleh rata-rata bahwa kedalaman sungai semakin turun kecepatan aliran sungai semakin turun dan ketinggian sedimen semakin naik tetapi perubahan yang terjadi tidak begitu signifikan. Besarnya debit sungai utama dan anak sungai yang masuk ke pertemuan sungai relatif kurang berpengaruh terhadap kedalaman sungai kecepatan aliran sungai dan ketinggian sedimen.


ABSTRACT

River is the flow of water surface which flows into a lower place the number one of the flow is dependent from catchment area which consists of a main stream and lateral stream is called by confluence. The flow of water in the rivers not only to flow water from upstream to downstream into the sea but also to flow material sediment as a result of the erosion process on the wall or the bottom of the river. The process of sedimentation at the confluence can be mathematically modeled and numerically simulated. The morphology confluence of two rivers to be reviewed is the sinusoid model. In this final project it is constructed the sedimentation model at the confluence of two rivers of sinusoid model using the finite volume the sedimentation model is solved by using the finite difference method-Alternating Direction Implicit ADI and the result is simulated by using matlab. The simulation it is obtained that the bigger of river flow from main stream it is obtained the average depth of the river getting down the speed of river flow is the getting down and the height of the sedimen is rising but the change occurs in significanlyt. The river floaws from main stream and lateral stream into a confluence of river relatively less impacts on the depth of riverthe flow of river and the height of sediment.
