DETECTION OF INSULIN USING MUTIARASILICA GELNIOH2 NANOPARTICLES MODIFIED SILVER ELECTRODE

ABSTRAK

Pada penelitian ini elektroda perak termodifikasi mutiarasilika gelpartikel nano NiOH2 dibuat untuk mendeteksi insulin secara elektrokimia. Pasta mutiara dan silika gel dipreparasi secara bulk modified dengan mencampurkan sejumlah bubuk mutiara silika gel dan parafin dalam lima perbandingan komposisi berat. Pasta mutiara disisipkan ke dalam tabung elektroda dan permukaannya diratakan menggunakan kertas hvs. Elektroda digunakan sebagai elektroda kerja untuk deteksi insulin menggunakan voltametri siklis. Elektroda memberikan respon terbaik dengan perbandingan komposisi pasta silika gel dan parafin yaitu 2 1. Pengukuran optimum didapatkan pada kondisi pH 6 dari larutan insulin. Elektroda menunjukkan kenaikan sinyal arus seiring kenaikan konsentrasi insulin. Sinyal arus katodik elektroda perak termodifikasi silika gel pada potensial -052 V memiliki sensitivitas dan limit deteksi yaitu 22139 956A956M-1mm-2 dan 27555 956M. Sedangkan untuk elektroda perak termodifikasi silika gelpartikel nano NiOH2 memiliki sinyal arus katodik pada potensial -015 V memiliki sensitivitas dan limit deteksi yaitu 18262 956A956M-1mm-2 dan 1024 956M. Elektroda termodifikasi silika gelpartikel nano NiOH2 menunjukkan respon arus yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan elektroda perak termodifikasi silika gel.


ABSTRACT

In this research pearlsilica gel modified silver electrode was done and used for electrochemical detection of insulin. Pearls and silica gel paste were prepared by bulk modified with mixing amount of pearls paraffin and silica gel directly. The electrochemical detection was done by using cyclic voltammetry method. Response of silica gel modified silver electrode against insulin solution showed increasing in cathodic current signal with increasing concentration of insulin. The response showed increasing of the signal at reduction potential -0520 V limit of detection and sensitivity of the electrode are 22139 956A956M-1mm-2 and 27555 956M. The respectively silica gelNiOH2 nanoparticles modified silver electrode gives signals at the oxidation potential 0150 V with limit of detection and sensitivity are 18262 956A956M-1mm-2 dan 1024 956M. Silica gelNiOH2 nanoparticles modified silver electrode showed a peak response higher than silica gel modified silver electrode.
