REDESAIN AND ANALYSIS OF GEAR IN THE DRIVE TRAIN MOTORCYCLE

ABSTRAK

Drive Train adalah suatu sistem pada kendaraan bermotor yang mampu mengatur output mesin daya dan torsi mesin pada saat mesin berkerja. Drive Train ini juga berpengaruh pada torsi yang dihasilkan mesin kendaraan bermotor.Dalam tugas akhir ini akan dilakukan analisa dan desain ulang rasio pada roda gigi bertingkat pada sepeda motor Honda Supra x 100 cc. Dengan data yang diperoleh dari pengujian dengan Tachometer pada sepeda motor Honda Supra x 100 cc akan didapatkan putaran output pada tiap perpindahan roda gigi.Penggantian rasio roda gigi II menghasilkan torsi 57.8 lb.in lebih rendah dari yang awal 109.4 lb.in. Pada penggantian rasio roda gigi III menghasilkan torsi 109.4 lb.in lebih besar yang awalnya 57.8 lb.in. Hasil tegangan maksimum poros I dan II dengan hasil perhitungan manual yaitu 19906.7 Psi dan 15398.3 Psi. Pada hasil komparasi antara perhitungan tegangan maksimum poros manual dengan hasil analisa Ansys tegangan poros yaitu poros I 4 dan poros II 0.2. Dan untuk hasil komparasi untuk tegangan maksimum poros pada rancangan roda gigi yaitu poros I 9 dan poros II 2.9.


ABSTRACT

The Drive Train is a system on motor vehicles which are able to adjust engine output power and engine torque at the time of the engine work. The Drive Train was also influential on the torque produced by the engine of a motor vehicle.In this final assignment will be done the analysis and redesign of the ratio on a multilevel gears on a motorcycle Honda Supra x 100 cc. With the data obtained from testing with a Tachometer on a motorcycle Honda Supra x 100 cc will get round the output at each gear shift.Replacement gear ratio II produces torque 57.8 lb. in lower than the beginning of 109.4 lb. in. The replacement ratio gears III produces a torque in lb. 109.4 greater that originally 57.8 lb. in. Maximum voltage output shaft I and II with manual calculation results namely 19906.7 and 15398.3 Psi. The results of the comparison between the calculation of the maximum voltage manual shaft with Ansys analysis results i.e. axis axis voltage I 4 and shaft II 0.2. And to compare the results to the maximum voltage shaft on gear design of the axis I 9 and the axis II 2.9.
