PARALLEL CONFIGURATION OF LOW PRESSURE BOILER CENTRIFUGAL PUMP ON FEED WATER SYSTEM PIPING INSTALLATION AT BLOCK I PLTGU PT PJB UP.GRESIK

ABSTRAK

PLTGU di PJB Unit Pembangkitan Gresik merupakan Combined cycle dimana peralatan utamanya adalah Heat Recovery Steam Generator HRSG. Kebutuhan Feed Water pada HRSG dilayani oleh pompa Low Pressure Boiler yang dikonfigurasi secara paralel. Sehingga pada tugas akhir ini dibahas mengenai pemilihan pompa yang dikonfigurasi secara paralel guna memenuhi kebutuhan Low Pressure Drum LP Drum. Penulisan tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar head dan kapasitas yang dibutuhkan oleh pompa Low Pressure Boiler. Selain melakukan perhitungan teoritis juga dilakukan perhitungan secara numerik dengan menggunakan software Pipe Flow Expert v6.38.1. Pada hasil perhitungan diperoleh kapasitas sebesar 216792 m38260h dengan head efektif 119395 m. Berdasarkan kurva karakteristik pompa paralel penggunaan dua buah pompa saja sudah mampu memenuhi kebutuhan kapasitas namun masih dengan nilai head yang rendah. Dengan tindakan throttling valve discharge maka kebutuhan head efektif akan lebih tinggi yaitu sebesar 134047 mSehingga pemilihan pompa jenis sentrifugal single stage dengan tipe CN-80-32 Ensival Moret sudah tepat.


ABSTRACT

PLTGU at Gresik Power Unit of PJB is combined cycle where equipment primarily is Heat Recovery Steam Generator HRSG. Feed Water in HRSG need served by Low Pressure Boiler Pumps configured in parallel. So in this final project discussed regarding the selection of pumps that are configured in parallel to serve qapacity of Low Pressure Drum LP Drum. The object of this final project to know the head and pump capacity required by the Low Pressure Boiler pump. In addition to theoretical calculations also performed numerical calculations using Pipe Flow Expert v6.83.1 software. On the calculation capacity is 216.792 m38260h with of the head effectively 119395 m. Based on parallel pump characteristic curve the use of two pumps have been able to serve the capacity requirements but still with a low head grades. With the discharge valve throttling the need for effective head will be higher at 134047 m so the selection of single stage centrifugal type pumps with CN-type 80-32 Ensival manufacturer Moret was right.
