THE IMPACT OF GAS INJECTION FAN TOWARD THE PROCESS OF COMBUSTION TO FURNACE PLTU UNIT III PT. PJB UNIT PEMBANGKITAN GRESIK

ABSTRAK

Proses Pembakaran Bahan Bakar merupakan suatu proses atau reaksi oksidasi yang sangat cepat antara bahan bakar fuel dan oksidator dengan menimbulkan panas atau nyala dan panas. Pada PT PJB UP Gresik menggunakan bahan bakar natural gas sebagai bahan bakar untuk menghasilkan listrik .Serta untuk memperbaiki proses pembakaran pada ruang bakar atau furnace maka pada proses pembakaran terdapat instalasi peralatan tambahan yang disebut gas injection fan GIF . Dalam satu unit PLTU terdapat 2 Instalasi GIF.Dikarenakan peralatan tersebut baru diinstalasi dalam powerplant maka keefektifannya masih kurang diketahui. Dari Pembahasan untuk mencari rasio ekivalen dalam perhitungan yang dihasilkan tanpa GIF sebesar 091444419 dan saat menggunakan 1 GIF sebesar 09725238620 serta saat menggunakan 2 GIF sebesar 099933776 dalam hal tersebut nilai rasio ekivalen apabila semakin mendekati 1 maka pembakaran yang terjadi semakin mendekati sempurna.


ABSTRACT

Fuel Combustion process is a process or a very fast oxidation reaction between a fuel fuel and an oxidant to generate heat or flame and heat. At PT PJB UP Gresik using natural gas fuel as a fuel to generate electricity. Well as to improve the combustion process in the combustion chamber or furnace the combustion process contained in the installation of additional equipment called gas injection fan GIF. In one unit of the plant there are 2 Installing GIF. Due to the new equipment installed in the powerplant then its effectiveness is still poorly known. From discussion to seek equivalence ratio in the resulting calculations without GIF of 0.91444419 and when using 1 GIF of 0.9725238620 and when using the 2 GIF by 0.99933776 in the case when the equivalence ratio closer to 1 the combustion that occurs closer.
